Loved easy access to pools and beach. Apartment is close to parking and elevators,so super convenient. Beds and couch were comfortable, pillows were a bit hard not fluffy. Kitchen had most everything needed for simple meals. Would stay again

Overall great stay. We picked this specific unit based on its location. We have 4 children under the age 6. So, we definitely wanted a floor unit and to be directly by the toddler splash area. It does create a long walk to beach, but we didn't mind that. The unit was clean and equipped with what it stated it had. As far as our unit and David, things were great. As far as the resort, we were stopped multiple times a day to ask about our wristbands yet we had them on from the moment we arrived. My entire family. One time we were stopped and 3 women next to me in the pool had on none. As if he didn't see them. I thought that was very strange. A bit annoying as we were literally wearing ours. How can you not see them? I observed so many not even wearing theirs. Strange. The grills were eh, okay. We had issues with two. Our unit had a trash can outside of the door and people from their units kept leaving their trash bags every single day next to it when the trash chute was RIGHT around the corner. I mean so much trash left right outside of our condo door. Trash that was NOT ours. We took ours to the chute every single time. Strange. Again, our host was great and helpful. The resort, itself, was okay.

Absolutely perfect! The location of this condo is wonderful if you like to be close to the parking garage. It made getting luggage out, groceries out and simply coming and going convenient. The walkout from the patio to the pool and beach area is wonderful. I love that we didn't have to wait on the elevator. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and we had ample storage space. We can't wait to go back!

We love staying at waterscape when we visit the beach. The amenities are unbeatable, and this unit was updated and very nice. They’ve automated the checkin/checkout process which saved time and was very convenient. Speaking of convenience, it’s a short walk from the parking garage and you can step right out on the patio and head straight to the pools. It’s a literal hop, skip, jump from the splash pad if you have littles in your group. The host was on point with their communication and very easy to work with! We will definitely be back!

This is a nice condo, perfectly situated for a family with young kiddos.... close to pool and activities. Very close to the garage. Just and FYI to any Seniors (like ourselves) that does make it the farthest to the beach. As it is designated as a handicap unit, it would be nice if there was a chair in the bathroom to sit for dressing etc. Also, both of the high top table & chairs , do make it a bit more challenging. But, perfect for most people !

This is our favorite place to stay while in Destin. The room is positioned perfectly for our 4 year old and 1 year old to be close to the pirate ship. I can work while the kids and wife are at the pool and never miss any of the fun. The room is always incredibly clean and my daughter loves the whale bed! This was the second time I rented this condo for a Thanksgiving week. I love the convenience of being in a ground unit and never having to deal with elevators. I can park right by my door. Check in is so easy, and the condo was immaculately clean! It is an easy walk to the beach to my included beach chair. Thanks for another great vacation, Coastal Vibe!

If you are looking for a family friendly spot, this is definitely it! We traveled to Waterscape from Cincinnati, OH for spring break - we are a family of 4 (kids ages 6 & 4). A heated pool was a must for us since our break was so early this year and this part of FL is still on the cooler side in early March. We were fortunate to have 3 great pool days - our rental was just a short walk to the one that was heated, which made going back and forth hassle-free. The larger pool with the lily pads wasn't quite warm enough this time of year, but there were still quite a few kids (mine included) who were able to make use of it. Beach access was also perfect! As far as the unit itself, it was very spacious for a 1 bedroom. Everything was as described and having the washer and dryer definitely came in handy. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness as the bunk beds were not as clean as I would prefer - lots of crumbs, lint, etc on the sides. One suggestion I would make for the master bath is for Coastal Vibes to consider adding a small cabinet next to the sink. Both bathrooms have pedestal style sinks with zero counter space, so getting ready and storing toiletries, cosmetics, etc. for the week was a challenge. This is minor, but since the master bath is large and adding a side table/cabinet appears to be feasible, I thought it was worth mentioning. We had a great trip and would absolutely consider booking this unit again.

This was our second trip to Waterscape. Last year we got a 2bd room with bunks and this year we got this 1 bd. The condo was perfect and we had no major issues during our stay. The one small issue we did have was addressed quickly. We will be back next year, probably in a 2bd though.

This was an amazing rental! Very clean and well kept! We traveled with 3 small with the youngest being 2. This condo was very close to the toddler splash pad area. Our 7 year old enjoyed the Lilly pads in the pool and our 14 year old loved the lazy river. There was a little something for every age. We would definitely visit again in the future. The experience was very pleasant and relaxing:)

Wonderful time spent at Waterscape A230! Our first time staying at this resort and it did not disappoint. The condo was clean and comfortable and located right by the parking garage which was so nice with 2 little ones. We did do some cooking during our stay and wish they had better pans and cooking utensils as some were a bit worn. The pool area was amazing and our kids really enjoyed all the different pools and of course the lazy river. There's also a fudpuckers tiki hut next to the pool which was nice to grab some drinks or food. The walk to the beach from our room was an easy 5 minutes! Restaurants, shops and the pier were all so close we really didn't have to go far at all. Beautiful resort and beach with everything close by, we would love to come again one day!

Such a great place. Loved the ground floor aspect. The layout was perfect with it being technically 1 bedroom, this worked perfect for our family of 5. Just got back from our stay. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Ground Floor, right next to the toddler/kids splash pad and the one heated pool up on the top level, beach service! There are three pools (lazy river, zero entry lily pad and waterfall pool, heated upper round pool) and the kids splash pad, having the heated pool was a must in early April. Fudpuckers runs the "snack shack" which means good burgers, chicken sandwiches, and quick lunch eats. It wasn't open for dinner when we were there. If your kids are older you can walk to the boardwalk/pier shops and restaurants. Our 2 year old tired out so we usually just drove over, ate at Anglers and Al's Burger shack. Fantastic food at both places. Al's had a lot of fun kids stuff to do, including water fountains that went off when kids play on them. Went to the Gulfarium right next door on a rainy day, lots of covered area for when it's raining. This is basically a kids paradise, making for a very enjoyable getaway for this very pregnant momma, husband and super active 2 year old. 10 minutes from the Destin boardwalk area, great beach. Anything that was not 5 star was not related to the rental or condos, we look forward to coming back again!

Visit Waterscape yearly, love the area, beaches, and amenities. Have stayed in several units but we wanted something this year on ground level. What an excellent choice, as it made it so much nicer and easier not having to deal with stairs or elevators as we grill out almost daily and the convenience of getting to the pool and beach area. The room is nice with a comfortable bed and plenty of room for our 4 person family. Working with David to book the room was a breeze, he always kept us updated with what we needed to know and really made the whole process seamless. We typically book through Wyndham but the convenience of being able to just pull up to the room and enter was extremely beneficial after being on the road, within 30 minutes of arriving in Ft. Walton we were at the pool and grilling. After being there for a week we did not want to leave, so much so that we observed that the room was not booked after we were expected to leave and we requested to extend our stay. David again was over-accommodating and made the process of our extension amazingly easy. Do not hesitate to book with confidence if looking for the perfect room with the best amenities on the Emerald Coast. See you in the upcoming years!

I’ve rented off VRBO for last 7 years, 5 of them at waterscape and I have to say this is my best purchase yet!!! Best condo we have stayed in! Every amenity we want d was there!! Sand toys already there and boogie boards! Walk right out to the pools, relax in the comfy beds! We cooked and grilled out there!! We can’t wait to come back next year! Waterscape is a beautiful resort! This was our first time in Ft. Walton/Destin and we loved it!! The condo was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We were able to park just steps from our front door in the parking garage and walk out our patio door right to the pool area. We took the owner’s recommendation to try True Blue Pontoon rental and spent a wonderful day on the bay and at Crab Island. The beach in front of the property was beautiful and we loved the convenience of having beach chairs and an umbrella service. We will definitely book with Coastal Vibe Vacations again next year!

Relaxing , convinent and comfortable, unit was super nice , housekeeping had unit in great shape for our arrival , the convince to the parking garage was awesome as well as to the pools and the beach, unit was very nice and clean , the kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and cookware, bathrooms were also nice with fresh clean towels , even though we had a few cold evenings we found a really good movie to watch and the sofa and living area was pretty comfy , David Jenn was also great to work with , we will definitely be back again. We enjoyed our stay at Waterscape A230! We spent fall break week here. The condo had everything we needed for the week. We didn't cook much, but it seemed to have a well-stocked kitchen. Most importantly, it had a keurig and regular coffee maker. My 3 year old loved the bunk beds, and our bed was comfy. Good wifi. It is the farthest condo from the beach but the closest to the parking garage, which ended up working very well for us carrying in lots of things for our kids. It's still not a bad walk at all to the beach (<5 mins), even while hauling two little ones; we made several trips back and forth each day. We were very pleased to find a nice cart in the closet for hauling all our stuff down to the beach! There is also free beach service included, so no need to carry chairs and umbrella with you. We had no issues at all with the condo during our week there, so it was a nice, trouble-free vacation! We were scheduled to arrive right in the middle of hurricane Nate, and the owner did a great job of communicating with us regarding the current status, etc. We loved Waterscape as a whole. The kids loved the pools and splash pad, water slide, etc. The shallow water in the splash pad and gradual entry pool was perfect for my 9 month old to crawl around in. The lazy river at Destin West is better than the one at Waterscape, but the rest of it makes up for that. There were plenty of people there for fall break, but there are enough options for swimming that it didn't feel overcrowded. The beach right in front of the resort was very crowded the first couple of days of our stay, but then not as bad; we just walked a bit down the beach where it was pretty empty. We walked down to the pier to eat at restaurants near there a couple times, so the location is very convenient. Old Bay Steamer is our favorite restaurant in FWB and it is right across the street!

Hi Bethany. We are so happy you and your family had a nice fall break. We are glad the condo was nice and comfortable for you. We always provide carts for our family to carry toys and other items down to the beach. The chairs on the beach are so nice to enjoy as well. While we can not predict the weather, we will always communicate with you prior to your stay to make you aware of any changing weather conditions.
