We really enjoyed our stay right on the beach! The beds were great. It would be nice to have beach towels provided as we did not have room in our luggage to bring ours (we bought some at Walmart). We were very close to so many things like grocery stores and restaurants. They also provided some beach items like chairs, sand toys and a volleyball. We would definitely stay here again!

The view of the beach from our very long and private balcony (thanks to being a corner unit) was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked, everything worked well, and the unit was very clean. We appreciated the pack and play, extra beach chairs for adults and beach toys for the children. Opinions on bed comfort was mixed depending on which bedroom a person was staying in but everyone agreed that we would definitely stay here again for our vacation. We had a wonderful time in this unit.

Location of thos condo is perfect! Property is well-kept and clean and management is very responsive. Our concerns were as trivial as an overhead stovetop bulb in need of replacement and a couple of squeaky doors in need of WD-40. The only thing that would keep me from renting this very condo would be that the mattress in the master suite was too soft for our liking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Three friends and colleagues who needed to get away and relax. The condo is very spacious and nicely appointed. The view is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck after swimming in the pool and the ocean. I definitely will recommend this condo to others.

The location is beautiful. The condo is a corner unit with a wide patio where you can see the sunrise and sunset. It’s close to shopping and restaurants. Pay attention to the code to get into pool and bathrooms. The pool was clean and warm in early January 2025. We will definitely go back. It was spacious and comfortable.

Stunning View! We were so impressed by this condo! Our JAWS dropped when we saw the most amazing view we have ever seen! The place was comfortable, clean, and peaceful. If you’re looking for relaxation this is the spot! We stayed the week of Christmas and there was hardly anyone on the beach. I’m sure come spring break it will probably be busy! This is by far our most favorite place to be! Always clean, has everything you could need for any length of stay-even daily devotional books. Amazing view, pool and property are amazingly kept. If there's an issue it's always resolved immediately. We love every second of our stay in Waters Edge 603.

This condo was perfect for our family! Being on the top floor and on the end was very helpful, we weren’t disturbed by other visitors. The elevator is near the unit which is convenient. The pools are big and clean with plenty of chairs. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Check-in was seamless. Received an email weeks in advance with the door code(s) to use during our stay, and everything else we may want or need - other suggestions & vacation tips, places to eat, grocery delivery, etc. Property had beach sand toys, volleyball set, wake boards, pool floats on site - in addition to the included beach service (umbrella & 2 chairs). We used the beach service both days that weather cooperated during our stay + and our son loved building castles with the sand toys. It was wonderful to have the other options provided for use, if we wanted. Its those small things that make the difference sometimes! The condo was exactly as pictured, very clean and with all kitchen items you could possibly need. The condo is within walking distance of a convenience store, and a café in the Wyndham Garden hotel next door, but other restaurants or stores you do need a car service (rental, Uber, etc) to get to, or do delivery. We used Uber with no issues to and from the condo multiple times. We went to dinner at the Okaloosa Boardwalk & walked the pier ($2/person). We also went to Destin Harborwalk (about 10 min drive) on an overcast/rainy day, and did the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise with our 4 year old son, which was a highlight of his trip for sure!

This was our third trip to Okaloosa Island. I must say this was the BEST condo property so far. Love the location. Love the parking garage. The pools were exceptionally clean. Beach service was fantastic. The condo itself was fantastic. I would have liked to have seen a better finish on the kitchen table, the painted finish was sticky from humidity and would have liked a little more comfortable chairs but they worked fine. Kitchen had everything we needed. I wish we could have stayed another week or two. The gem of this condo is the balcony and windows!!! Aaaa-mazing. Highly recommended.

This condo is the condo to have in this complex, being on the top floor and on the corner. The view is incredible no matter what the weather and the balcony was amazing. Very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Full access to that beach was so wonderful, exactly the kind of trip we needed and will absolutely look to the place for future stays!

Great place with a fantastic view. Many bars and restaurants near by. David’s condo was clean and clutter free. Do feel the condo could use some updates, for instance one of the sinks in the main bedroom had a hole in it. Also the baseboard needs painted from the many scuff marks everywhere. This being said I would stay here again and hope for some updates. Again the view was incredible.

Nice property! We loved the location, top floor, corner unit. Very quiet and close to elevator! Beds were very comfortable, view from balcony was beautiful! If you plan to use the “included” 2 beach chairs and umbrella, you have to get down there quick as they are all spoken for pretty much as soon as they are put up, glad we had taken our own. Overall, great stay!

Watching the sunrise over the water from the balcony is breathtaking… what a lovely way to begin the day! The heated pool was wonderful for a morning swim. Walking along the beach and discovering new places to explore like parks on the Sound and the Bay and the Women's Veteran Memorial Park were invigorating and interesting. Many good restaurants are close by like Stewby's, Angler's and Ali's Bistro. The kitchen has all the dishes and cookware needed to make meals. The grounds are well tended and the staff is friendly. Coastal Vibes was knowledgeable about the area as well as attentive. It was great to reconnect with family and make new friends not to mention ending the day with a wonderful sunset.

This unit was absolutely beautiful. The view of the ocean was amazing We saw dolphins almost everyday. There were two big pools one heated and one not with several lounge chairs. David’s condo was very clean and bright upon arrival. The view is outstanding! Our family of five had plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed. Likely one of the best and most spacious condos we have stayed at in the last 15 years. Very clean! Very comfortable beds. The LR has10' ceilings with glass from floor to ceiling revealing magnificent views! Well stocked kitchen ( as petty as it sounds, maybe update the glassware a bit?). Host was extremely responsive. The Router then the Keurig went out but they were both replaced within minutes. Would stay again, and again, and again....

Our family loved this roomy, comfortable condo with a beautiful balcony that offered a wide, stunning view. It seemed even more spacious than shown in photos. It had everything you could need, plus extra amenities we didn't expect. The high ceilings made a difference. We felt like we were living in the lap of luxury :). We’ve stayed at Water’s Edge for the last few years. We rented the 6th floor condo this year which is ok if you don’t mind waiting for the elevator. The condo was clean, had lots of towels, and the kitchen was fully stocked. For some reason there weren’t any extra blankets. The king bed was very comfortable but there were complaints about the twin beds being uncomfortable. The balcony was spacious and had very nice furniture. The owner was very easy to deal with. The only real complaint was the condition of the beach. There was old seaweed all over the beach that dried harder as the days went by hurting your feet to walk on. I don’t believe I’ve ever been to okaloosa island where they didn’t grate the beach, but I was there a week and it wasn’t grated one time. This would not stop me from going back though. You won’t be sorry if you rent this condo. We hated that we had to go home.

Beautiful Property. Amazing views. The pool was a plus that half of it was heated. The kids thoroughly enjoyed that when it was chilly some days. The only thing we found that did not work was the crockpot and that was on our last evening that we tried to use it it wouldn’t get hot. Otherwise everything else was there and available to use. We did grocery pick up at Walmart which was not terrible. There is a Publix close but it is pricier. Will definitely rebook in the future.

If you are looking for a family condo stop here! This place exceed all of our expectations. I actually cried a little when my husband and I stepped out onto the balcony when we first arrived. The view is amazing and the condo was clean and very ready for our family. Everything you need for a long stay away from home. There are even some beach accessories in the hallway closet. I loved the two devotional books they provided and the journal I watched the sunrise with my coffee and beach devotional every morning. We will definitely be back and we can't wait!

We had an amazing time at this condo. It was exactly as depicted in the photos. Very nice and and updated. It's a rental condo at the beach though, so if you're expecting "eat off the floor clean" you won't be satisfied BUT when we arrived we could tell it had just been thoroughly cleaned. The floors and counters were sparkling and the towels and bed lines were all clean and in good shape. The kitchen had everything we needed and the 3 bathrooms were great to have (the kids were excited not to share!). It was also nice to have a smart TV in each room. The view from the condo is really spectacular. The wall to wall windows at the back/balcony let you see the beach from the entire kitchen and living area. We got to watch the birds and dolphins every day and nothing blocked our view. There was an entire closet of beach items there to be used if needed (thanks for the beach mat!) and the beach service (umbrella and 2 beach chairs set up for you at the beach everyday) was so convenient and eliminated the need for a ton of items to be lugged down to the beach. The property itself was well maintained. The pool was clear and clean every day and the kids loved it. Overall, we had a great vacation and would highly recommend this condo if you want to stay in the area!

The condo was beautiful as well as the view. The only 2 improvements I would suggest is redoing the kitchen table the paint stays tacky and feels sticky and a deadbolt on inside so little kids cannot open the door and go out. We enjoyed ourselves and the condo was as described :)

Once I knew I was coming to Ft. Walton Beach, I did a massive search for places to stay. I'm so glad I came upon Coastal Vibe Vacations. The reservation process was super easy, and no additional fees going through other booking sites. Also, lots of great communication from Coastal Vibe on the process for checking in and out, as well as, answering any questions I had in a timely manner. The pictures don't do it justice, the view is absolutely amazing. This condo provided the best stay for my family of four and my in-laws. Easy access to the beach, pools, and many restaurants nearby. This is the 3rd time we've stayed in this unit since 2018, and it was wonderful once again. The rental process and communications were flawless, the entire condo was immaculate upon arrival, and the view from the top floor corner unit simply can't be beat; not just from the balcony, but from the entire kitchen/dining/living room area. We especially like the fact that each bedroom effectively has its own bathroom, with two of them being en-suite. The recent remodeling updates were very nice, too. The Waters Edge pool is also large and inviting. Okaloosa Island is a family-friendly place, and Ft. Walton Beach is easy to get around and has some really great restaurants, like Stewby's and Clemenza's. All-in-all, another great stay, and we'll be back!

Unfortunately our stay ended 3 days in due to Covid and we lost the rest of our time and money. I suggest the renter’s insurance, you never think you’ll need it until you do.

This condo is absolutely beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Loved how much space we had and that the condo was fully stocked for everything we needed and more. Location is great - close to grocery store, restaurants, shops. Short drive to Destin. We lucked out with the weather still being 80 degrees and being able to take advantage of the beach chairs and umbrellas. The pools were great, one being warmer than the other which was great for daytime and evening swimming. Property manager was always fast to get back to us if we had any questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. We will be back!

Easy to rent property was beautiful. One elevator was not working for 3 days. First time happening. 30+ family members stay here every Oct. For last 10 years. Need beach chairs for each member staying as we had 8 people for 2 chairs. 2 were unable to walk far.

What amazing views from this condo. While it's a little outdated, the amenities and view are what we were there for. We stayed with myself, husband, two children under 3 and their grandma. The unit overall could use a bit of updating with new mattress in the master, overall decor and paint. The master bed was lopsided from normal wear, and probably needs to be replaced. The fan in the master also makes noise. The bunk bed was great for our 3 year old we just brought a blow up bed rail to keep her safe. The unit came with a pack n play that's in good shape, and he slept in the large master closet. The porch is much larger on this unit and you get to see amazing sunsets, I just wish they had a bar top or table so you could eat out there. Inside the unit the appliances are updated and the washer and dryer are the smartest things ever. It would be great if the owner provided more than 2 rolls of toilet paper and two trash bags for week long stays, we wound up using the grocery bags as trash bags. Overall we would stay in this building again but would probably opt for a different unit for the price.

To address your feedback: - I'll be staying at the condo in a couple weeks and will test the mattresses and if needed, I will update them. - We also do updates (painting and various others) in November as needed. - I'll have my maintenance manager look into the noisy fan. - I do have the 2 person high top table on the balcony, I have received mixed input on having too much furniture (obstructing views from inside the unit) and not enough. - I'm glad you liked the washer and dryer as those were newly updated 2 months ago. - We provide enough toilet paper and trash bags to "get guests started". We do not stock these items for the duration as these are responsibility of guests for the duration of the stay. Thanks again.

I have to say that we were absolutely wowed by your amazing condo. That view was beyond 5 star!!! We had such a comfortable and well appointed stay. I cooked 6 out of the 7 nights and found everything I needed in the kitchen which was a huge deal for me - so thanks for stocking it so well!!! Water's Edge in general was the best place I've stayed at the many beaches we've visited. It was immaculate and the pool was amazing. The weather was perfect and so was our stay. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful piece of heaven with others. Also, The full size soaps and shampoos in each bathroom were very much appreciated!

The unit is updated, clean and the furnishings are in great condition. The extra long balcony was wonderful and the location couldn't have been better. Fort Walton is a little more quiet than Destin, which is nice, but still close enough to easily access all the things Destin has to offer. Water's Edge seems well maintained, with great handheld spray nozzles for cleaning off the sand. We will definitely come back!

Water's Edge Condo #603 was just as advertised. The check-in process was very easy, the unit as well as the full complex was well maintained and easy to navigate. Having easy access to the beach was an added plus due to heath conditions of some of our party. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in many Ft Walton condos over the years and I think Water’s Edge is the best maintained we’ve seen. This condo is also really well stocked - the kitchen had everything we needed and the great room with 10’ balcony doors was stunning. We also REALLY appreciated the hand soap, shampoo and face wipes in every bathroom. Very thoughtful! We would stay again.

We first stayed at this property in June 2018 and had such a great experience we were anxious to return. Once again, it was top- notch in every respect. Okaloosa Island and Ft. Walton Beach may be considered by some to not be as "sexy" as Destin but in my opinion provide the same beach experience and family fun opportunities at a lower cost. Some great restaurants at reasonable prices too. Shawn's unit is the icing on the cake and simply can't be beat. You won't have any regrets staying there,

This is a very well-managed and cared for condo. Dealing with your owner was a pleasure as he was very responsive and made everything extremely simple. Contacting the owner booking making payments getting access codes and his comprehensive guest binder took all of the work out of our trip. This unit is on the top floor in the corner with fantastic views and easy access to the elevators and parking. The condo facility is well run, the staff is very helpful, and the amenities are nice. The large pool was very clean all the chairs were arranged every morning there are plenty of cards for luggage, the outdoor grills are great, and the concierge service on the beach is awesome. The exercise room is small but has a nice treadmill, elliptical, and bicycle Along with a nice universal machine. Inside the condo everything was clean and in working order. He had plenty of kitchen tools to make cooking for a family after possible. The unit is very large with TVs in every room and good cable and Wi-Fi service. Dishwasher, washer and dryer and refrigerator all works as did the air conditioning. We didn’t have any problems with the unit our entire trip. This part of Fort Walton is my favorite as it is a little quieter but still close to the action if that is your thing. Destin is only a few minutes away and there are plenty of shopping and lots of good restaurants right in Fort Walton. Even the public transit system was easy enough that my kids could make their way to town and Destin whenever they wanted. My wife and I stayed here with her two daughters and three of their friends. The place accommodated all seven of us are very comfortably. We had an excellent vacation and will definitely return. Thank you Shawn.

First time to Walton Beach with my husband and our three boys. The condo was well stocked, clean, spacious and exceeded our expectations. Shawn,the owner, is extremely organized and communicative. The condo is safe and well maintained; very family friendly and safe. Heated pool was awesome, even in the evenings. Close enough if you want to venture into the business of Destin, but removed the the traffic and crowds. The beach is indescribable and having chair service is such a nice perk. This literally couldn’t have been a better experience for our family!

The condo is very, very nice and the well furnished with great furniture. Towels, utensils etc stocked. The beach does not get better than it is here at Santa Rosa Island, white cool sand and crystal clear water. All appliances worked and plenty of hot water. My wife, daughter and her family had a fantastic time. The building was not crowded and we had no issues with the beach service, where we got a two beach chairs and an umbrella right next to the ocean. Elevators worked well and we did not have a wait, plenty of parking on the first through the fourth floors. There were luggage carts on the first floor, which made getting out luggage to the sixth floor not a problem. The views from the sixth floor were superb, and noise was not an issue. Overall, it was we had a wonderful time. Restaurants are right around the corner, Floys is great, Rock In Toco's is also another good place to eat.

We have five kids, so this 3 bedroom condo was a good fit. There was plenty of space for everyone. The place was clean and up to date. The kids enjoyed the heated pool, the proximity to the beach, the televisions, and the elevators! We had an issue with the lock one morning, but the owner was quick to respond and had it fixed within a couple of hours, along with a credit for the trouble. We would definitely return to this condo.

First impressions are everything and this one offers a big one! From the minute you walk in the door, the high ceilings and long hallway leads right to a full glass wall with an amazing view of the Emerald Coast. The condo had plenty of room for our group of six adults and one child. The pool was comfortable and not crowded at all during late September. Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone with a group or even a couple looking for a lot of space.

In July 2018 our family of 4 had a great vacation at the Water’s Edge Condo Unit 603. What a “tah dah” factor it has! Beautifully decorated with tall (penthouse feeling) ceilings and sliding patio doors. Awesome view. Great amenities. Super nice pool. It felt like the perks of a first class hotel with the comforts of home. We were thankful to use the beach supplies available in the unit (it’s hard to get a swimming noodle on a plane) and we enjoyed the beach chair/umbrella service included. Our stay was during a busy time of year but we never felt crowded on the property. The building is in a quiet location on Okaloosa Island that is close to Destin. Shawn was a pleasure to work with and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

My family of 6 stayed in this impressive condo and at no time did any of us feel like we were in each other’s way. We’ve been coming to okaloosa island for 4 years and I will never stay anywhere but this condo. The 3 bathrooms were key to us getting ready and out the door for our evening activities. Unit was clean and well maintained. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The washer/dryer in the unit was very convenient to dry our wet beach towels each day. The free beach chair setup was great. Look for Elliot from Sunset Beach Service and he will hook you up. We rented 2 extra setups all week and requested a specific location and Elliot made sure it was set up every day. Weather was great during our stay and we loved sitting out on the huge patio every night listening to the waves. If you want gulf front luxury at a reasonable rate this is the place to stay (just don’t reserve my week before I do lol). Shawn is a great owner and was very easy to work with from beginning to end.

Our experience staying at this property was outstanding in every way. The owner is very attentive and anxious for his guests to have a great time. His condo is quite impressive, from the cleanliness upon arrival, to the high ceilings and furnishings, to the fantastic view of the beach from the huge balcony and also from the inside due to the sliding glass doors all the way across. The complex was very quiet and had more of a family atmosphere than high-rise condos we've stayed at other beaches on the Gulf. We especially enjoyed the convenient covered parking and the beach service provided with the condo rental (2 chairs and umbrella set up for us every morning, and for just $150 for the entire week, we paid for another setup to the guys at the beach). Ft. Walton Beach itself has a lot of great restaurants, such as Stewby's Seafood Shanty and Asiago's Skillet. We especially enjoyed the steamed shrimp from Gulf Coast Seafood and peeling-and-eating at the condo's large dining table while enjoying the incredible view to the ocean. Finally, the condo rental charges were very reasonable, compared to high-rises we've rented at other Gulf beaches, especially considering the furnishings and amenities in this unit (we loved having the 3rd bathroom).. You won't regret staying here!

Our stay on Okaloosa Island was fantastic! This condo is gorgeous and spacious. We had 8 people (4 couples) staying and we never felt crowded or on top of each other. The balcony overlooking the Gulf is large and has plenty of seating. Perfect for watching the sun rise or set. 2 beach chairs and an umbrella were included which was a big plus and the man that handles that operation is extremely nice and very helpful. He offered to store our pop-up tent for us so that we wouldn't have to lug it back up to the condo everyday. There are also SUPs and kayaks for rent, which was well worth the money. We got lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins with a baby! Although we didn't get in the pool because the Gulf was so calm and clear while we were there, the pool looked very clean and well kept. If I had to critique anything, and this is nitpicking, since we had 8 people staying, we thought there would be more paper products available. We had to go buy some the second day into the trip, but it wasn't a big deal. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this condo and would stay here again in heart beat!

The top floor presents great gulf views, and the heated pool was a nice change each afternoon. Lastly, Elliot was our beach attendant, and he always had our chairs out in the morning, and my kids (6 and 4) always had a a smile on their face when they saw him - couldn't have been nicer.

Wow! We've been coming to the beach for many years and this condo was absolutely perfect. The floor to ceiling views were beautiful, the furnishings were very nice, updated and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the overall floor plan was very nice and perfect for large families. Shawn was so accommodating, quick to respond and so easy to deal with. He stayed in touch with us regularly with local updates regarding Irma and was genuinely concerned for our safety. The property is a great place for families. Shawn and his family have done a wonderful job of thinking of all the things you would want or need. There was even a crock pot for a team dinner if you needed it. The bedrooms all had a bathroom , so no need to try to coordinate showers, and they have beach and pool toys for your use. We were down for a softball tournament, and EVERYONE who came over to visit said they wished their places were as nice as ours! Highly recommend this one!

It was more than I expected!!! There were five of us, two adults and three teenagers. The condo was very spacious and well-equipped with everything you'd possibly need to enjoy a Florida beach vacation and the comforts of home! This beachfront condo was very clean and well-taken care of with modern furnishings and decor throughout the entire floor. Washer and dryer was a plus. My favorite feature of this vacation rental was a million-dollar view of the beach and the Gulf. The balcony was very large and we often had our breakfast while watching dolphins. The white sandy beaches are just steps away. Pool and fitness center were nice and convenient but we mostly stayed on the beach. The location of the Water's Edge property is central to Destin Harborwalk and nearby attractions. We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of the Okaloosa Island while still being close to Destin. It was very safe to walk to nearby stores and restaurants. We will definitely be back. Tip: Book early (at least 8 months for summer stays) as this is a premium unit and will sell out fast.

My family has stayed at Water's Edge several times and this is by far the best condo we've rented! It was so nicely decorated, extremely clean, and had so many little details that were welcoming to the guests. The balcony is wonderfully relaxing! The open dining and living area was fabulous, and the fact that the table was higher so that you could see out to the ocean was amazing. The owner, Shawn, was so easy to work with and made the experience feel so much more personable than dealing with a rental agency. We have been to this area every year for the past four years and this was undoubtedly the best experience we have had. The Condo was very well maintained, structurally "quiet" - in that there is no neighbor noise bleed through - and we couldn't ask for better views. Parking was not a problem (sheltered) and there was security on the grounds at night. We would recommend staying here to anyone interested in having a vacation that is a bit above all the rest.

This was our third stay at Waters Edge. All of our stays have been enjoyable but this is the best condo we've rented there. It was spotless and had everything anyone could need including soap and shampoo in all the bathrooms and even make up wipes. There is a closet full of sand and water toys. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, utensils and appliances you need for cooking. They even provide coffee filters. My teen daughter noted that the owners are very thoughtful in what they include in the condo. Really, all you need to pack is your clothes, sunscreen and towels for the beach. Everything else is there. The open kitchen/dining/living room gives you lots of space for the family to spread out. The oversized balcony has lots of seating and fantastic views. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large for a condo. The beds were all comfortable, even the sofa bed. We enjoyed the extra space and the high ceilings in this corner unit. The owner was pleasant to deal with and was very responsive. He gave us some great restaurant suggestions. Waters Edge is a beautiful property. It's beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. Parking is easy. The pools are always clean. The beach and pools are steps from the condo. Two chairs and an umbrella are waiting on the beach for you every day and included in the price of the condo, and you can pay for an extra set up, which we did because there were six of us. I highly recommend this condo. The great reviews are well-deserved. If it's available, we will stay here every time we visit FWB.

We were so happy to walk in and find a gorgeous place with an even more gorgeous view! There were 6 of us, 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 toddlers. Everything we needed to cook (didn't do much of that) sleep (beds and linens were very comfy) entertain our little ones (Nick, Jr. and Disney channel, dvd player) and play on the beach or at the pool (toys, castle molds, floating rings, plus 2 chairs and umbrella everyday) was provided for us. The smaller pool was heated, which was handy because of the cooler weather this week. We felt that it was preferable to stay here on Okaloosa Island rather than in crowded Destin, and even though it isn't officially summer yet, it was the right move. Traffic in Destin was slow already and the beaches there looked much more crowded than where we were. Fort Walton Beach has made some great strides with new businesses in the last few years, there is a great Publix grocery store about a mile from the condo, and the downtown area looks much cleaner and nicer than the last time I was here 5 years ago. All in all it was a delightful week, and this condo was one of the best I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend for a multi-generational family. Everyone had plenty of privacy, but a large living/dining to gather when we wanted to be together.

We arrived and immediately hit the beach without having to check-in due to the owner's digital lock on the front door. The condo has everything you need and is a corner beachfront 3 BR unit. The condo has a large kitchen table that seats 8 people, a large deck that was nice to sit on and enjoy the view of the beach/gulf, washer and dryer, beach toys/boards, etc. The condo was immaculate and the owner (Shawn) was available for immediate assistance should something come up out of the ordinary. We actually left something behind in the condo and he mailed it to us. The condo sits on a white sand beach that is really nice and is close to several good restaurants, shops, etc. There is a large pool and a smaller heated pool adjacent to it. I would highly recommend this condo to anybody looking to stay in the Destin / Fort Walton / Okaloosa Island area and look forward to going back this fall and for years to come.

My husband and I stayed in this condo for a month and a half and found it very satisfying! I love having a corner unit, you can see all the way down the beach to both the east and west. All the furniture was comfortable, something you don't always have when renting! There are nice appliances and everything works--another bonus! There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans; we even had a crock pot. And best of all? Shawn was the nicest person we've ever dealt with in all the years we've been renting! We'll be back for sure. We have been vacationing in Ft. Walton Beach for over 20 years. The white sand and the emerald green water is beautiful. We really like Water's Edge and have stayed here numerous times in different units. This is by far the nicest one yet. The condo is very spacious so everyone has plenty of room to relax and is very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need but the groceries. There are also plenty of extras like a pack n play, sheets and pillows as well as some beach toys. The balcony is huge and the top floor views are awesome. Shawn was great. This was our first visit to the beaches of Florida and it exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about this condo and the owners who rent it. I loved that it was a top unit...the views of the beach and the water were beyond anything we could have imagined. The condo itself was amazing! The decor is beautiful and very welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space to move around the condo without being on top of each other (we had 5 adults and 2 kids). I truly felt at home in this here. I loved I could look out over the balcony and see our family playing on the beach or playing in the pool. Hands down, this was the best family vacation we have taken. We have already planned to come back next year and we hope to be able to rent the same condo again.

The condo is always very clean and has everything we need as far as cooking and even toys for the kiddos to play in the sand with. This was our first trip to Okaloosa Island and Shawn's condo was very up to date and very nice! It was definitely home away from home. Very clean, well stocked and plenty of room for a family with 6 teenagers. The view from the balcony was amazing. We love watched the dolphins every morning. We enjoyed spending the week right on the beach with the chair and umbrella service, plus a nice swimming pool. The children loved all the extra beach toys, umbrella, etc that was in the hallway closet. The kids loved the puzzles and books too! We look forward to renting from Shawn again in the future. I don't gush on reviews, but am very happy to do so here. We have stayed at several rental homes and condos around the Gulf Coast (including three other times in Ft. Walton Beach). This was by far the best place we've stayed. The furniture is much nicer than you expect from a vacation rental. The layout of the unit is excellent, with wide hallway, large rooms, and high ceilings. We had no intrusive noise from neighbors being on the top floor at the end of the row. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. Nice big master shower, tub, closet. It really felt like a home, and was very comfortable for our family of six. All the details were covered: well supplied kitchen with nice dishes and decent pots and pans. Very cold AC. Pack 'n play was already there (handy since our car was stuffed so we left ours at home). The beach toys and flash lights in the hall closet were a nice bonus. The garage had several carts available to get your luggage and groceries to and from the car in a single trip. The pools were large and clean, and the boardwalk to the beach was very short. The beach service guy was also very friendly and cut us a deal for an extra umbrella and chairs with a reserved space on the end of the row. The view is excellent! Photos don't do it justice. The price was VERY reasonable - Huge bang for the buck! We had one minor inconvenience which the owner responded to immediately, and all was well. Definitely recommend this unit. We'll be back if we can!

This is our third time traveling to Okaloosa Island and Shawn's condo was by far the nicest and most reasonable priced place that we've stayed at. The condo was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The pictures don't do it justice, this place is huge! The view from the balcony was amazing. We saw several dolphins while eating breakfast out on the balcony. What's nice about this condo complex is its right on the beach and you don't have to walk very far to get to the ocean. If you have small kids this is great since your always going back and forth from the pool to the beach throughout the day. It was also nice being on the top floor and being an end unit. Very quiet and lots of privacy. The complex also offers covered parking and Shawn's unit is right by the elevator. The condo complex was also very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend Shawn's condo. We can't wait to go back next summer.

First let me say that I travel about 5-6 times a year and Florida is our preferred destination when not going all- inclusive or adventure hunting. This is the 2nd time I have been to Okaloosa Island and this location/beach is my favorite in the state. This condo is in perfect location. Can stay in an hang at a large pool, enjoy the free chairs and umbrella provided at the beach, or go into Destin and find entertainment and adventure. The Ocean water is clear and like glass and the white powder sands which never get hot is perfect! So what really matters is finding the right place, at the right price and this is it! We went with another couple and a friend and you cannot beat this Penthouse view with incredible balcony that seats 6 people comfortably! Period. The condo inside is like being at home. Beautiful decor with all the updates and amenities that you would ever ask for. You can check out for yourself online but the master bedroom is huge with king size bed, large private bathroom, shower and tub. All the other rooms were great and accommodating. The kitchen is great and the dining table is fantastic for eating in and looking out at the beach or playing cards with friends and family. Came in handy when we grilled out at the complex. What I really appreciated outside of the condo was the prompt, personal attention from Shawn. He was always immediately accessible to answer questions and made me feel like I was renting from a family member. Everything was laid out for us to have a great trip and if you need anything (which we didn't) it is just a phone call or text away. Like I said, great room at fair price and NO WORRIES! We will be back!

I could not be more pleased with the condo and Shawn's attention to detail. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. When we walked into the condo everything was in working order and clean. It felt very spacious and comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows allowed us to enjoy beautiful ocean views while cooking, eating or just relaxing. We spent a lot of time on the large balcony taking in the sights and sounds of oceanfront living. The beach chair and umbrella service was great and lessened the amount of stuff we had to carry down each time. The pool was always clean and not crowded. I would highly recommend this condo!

This place was much more than 5 stars. It was above and beyond our expectations. We just returned with our family of 4 grown children and the space was unbelievable. There was room for all of us to eat together and spend time together as a family. The balcony was plenty big for guests to stop by and visit. The appliances were all up to date and worked great. Every bedroom had a bathroom which was a luxury to us. It made getting ready to go out so much easier. The bedrooms were all a great size, even the bunk room. We had plenty of closet and drawer space to unpack all of our belongings. We ate in alot and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The large pantry was plenty big for the groceries we purchased. The hall closet contained a variety of gear to use on the beach. The beach umbrella and chairs which were included with the rental was great, these are a must on the beach. There was covered parking which was nice, especially with the heat. The young lady working the desk at the complex was so sweet and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this condo and the owner, Shawn. We have been spoiled and it will be very hard to beat this condo! Amazing condo at a super price!!!

My family has been renting on Okaloosa Island for 5 years running, and Shawn's condo is definitely one of our favorites. Very nicely furnished, very clean, and well maintained, with floor to ceiling windows and an over sized balcony that can't be beat in the Water's Edge building, as well as nice hardwood floors throughout. Even nicer than it looks in the pictures. We've previously stayed at Waterscape, Azure, and Water's Edge, and I would compare Shawn's condo to an Azure level of quality/luxury, but at a Water's Edge price. Far and away nicer than other Water's Edge units we've previously rented. Would definitely return to this unit again. My only nitpicky complaints would be that the bunk beds were loose and wobbly and need to be tightened up, and the balcony could really use a table for eating outside. But other than that, this is definitely a 5-star condo that I would recommend to anyone. Shawn was also very nice and easy to work with, and really seemed to care that we had a great experience.

This condo was hands down our favorite place we have ever stayed on a vacation. The unit was very clean on arrival. The view from this condo was beautiful and since it's on the very top corner, it feels more private than the others. It was well furnished and we were able to find all the utensils and appliances we needed. It's also very conveniently located near an elevator. My family and I have been going to Ft Walton for the past 15 years. This was the first time to stay at Water's Edge. Shawn's condo far exceeded our expectations. The unit was beautiful and very clean. It had plenty of linen and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. The living area was quite large compared to other condos we have stayed at in the past. The view from the balcony was second to none. I was a little concerned at first about the trip down to the beach from the top floor with three small children and an infant, but the elevator wait was not bad at all. The pool is beautiful and the area surrounding it is well maintained. We used the outside grill one night and that too was clean. Shawn was very easy to deal with and answered every email in a timely manner. We checked out yesterday and my deposit has already been refunded. I highly recommend this condo and can't wait to go back next year.

From arrival to after we left Shawn was amazing! He made himself available and was quick to respond if we had any questions. The condo was huge. The pictures don't do it justice. It was clean and decorated nicely. The beds were more comfortable than our own. The linens and towels smelled so good. The little touches like books, puzzles, extra beach gear and charcoal were very appreciated. The view was incredible! It was so nice to have beach service. The island itself was very easy to get around. Everything you need is right there. I would recommend renting a pontoon from True Blue in Destin. They were very accommodating and had the best price. My friends and I loved this condo! It is the best kept secret on the beach! Everything was so clean and we loved all the extra towels, big closets, bottles of soft soap, shampoo,etc. We loved the view from the spacious balcony and spent lots of time there. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. We loved the double vanities in the master bath and the large closets kept the area clutter free. Shawn was so helpful! Great pools! Great beach! This is an excellent condo with beautiful oceanfront views! The condo was clean, updated, and Shawn was extremely easy to work with. He took time to suggest family activities and even provided his phone number for easy communication! This was wonderful! My children, ages 4&5, loved the pool especially since you were able to bring pool toys, floats, etc. The pool is huge and is not crowded. The most impressive part of the Waters Edge condo was the floor to ceiling sliding doors (10ft) that allow an impressive view of the ocean the minute you step inside the condo. Just Wow! This was our first time staying on Okaloosa Island and we are so glad we did! The beach was beautiful and clean, the pools are huge! And the condo, the pictures don't do it justice! We had six in our party ranging in ages from 18-65. At no point did we feel like we were all on top of each other. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the dining room table is perfect for playing cards and games. My favorite place, hands down, was the balcony! All six of us were able to sit together and again, didn't feel we were all sitting on top of each other. The word to describe the condo is "SPACIOUS". You will not regret choosing this condo! Shawn was very easy to work with! We will definitely be coming back to this one!

We traveled to Okaloosa Island for the first time and loved it. The beaches are beautiful, the beach chairs and umbrella which come with rental were awesome, and the condo itself was outstanding. My boys enjoyed playing in the large pools. The owner was great to work with and followed up upon our arrival to make sure everything was good. There were plenty of plates, bowls, cups, silverware etc. And here was an amazing touch that I have never seen in all of my times renting at the beach...hand soap in all of the bathrooms and at the kitchen sink, dish soap in the kitchen, and bar soap for the showers. Nothing major some would say. I say what a nice touch. There were great places to get food but we were most happy with choices that weren't the "tourist"y restaurants. We ventured to Destin a few times and it is a very easy trip especially with no traffic. If I return to Okaloosa Island, I will definitely be getting in touch with this owner first to see if the condo is available. What a great vacation!

Our family stayed at this wonderful condo for 7 days. The location is amazing, the beach chairs and umbrella were ready by 8am each morning. The beach is great, and the proximity from the unit to the beach is ideal. We were so pleased with the unit, the pictures are great that you view prior to arrival. However in person the unit is amazing. Floor to ceiling windows in the living/dining area are not to be beat, the end unit provides ocean front and bayside views, making the unit sunny and bright. The condo was super clean and well stocked with high end linens and contains all the cookware/utensils you will need.I will also mention you will not have a back ache after sleeping here, the bedding is great. We just returned from a very relaxing wonderful week. We had 4 adults and 2 children and we had more than enough room. We have stayed in a lot of condos and this by far had the best views. The condo was clean and decorated very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds! It is nice to be on Okaloosa where it is a little more quiet but you can drive over to Destin and be in the action. McGuires is a must! The pool was huge and very clean. We were glad there were several restrooms near the pool. We grilled several times. We enjoyed the Indian mound museum and school house. The Gulfarium is a great place to take the family. Covered parking was very nice. It was a bonus to not worry about a room key. In the hall closet there are several boogie boards, beach umbrella and sand toys that the kids enjoyed using. Shawn is very organized, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I received my deposit back very quickly. We would stay here again.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo on the beach. Parking was great in the parking garage which helped keep the car cool during the day. A short trip up elevator to the top floor corner unit. The condo was very nicely furnished and had everything we could need to enjoy our stay. The view of the ocean was great from the balcony, which appeared to be among the largest balconies in the complex. The two pools were great and allowed for plenty of space for the family. We thoroughly enjoyed this condo in Okaloosa Island!!! We had four teenagers with us and there was plenty of space for everyone. The unit was very clean and beautifully decorated - Shawn's photos are spot on and clearly depict the condo. One of my favorite spots was the balcony!! I ate breakfast outside every morning and we sat outside every night. We had everything that we needed in the condo!! Our teens even played with sand buckets and rings that were in the hall closet and I was grateful for the books in the TV stand, so that I could read on the beach. We ordered a second set of beach chairs with an umbrella, and the guys on the beach put our chairs in the same spot each day with our name on the chairs. We only cooked dinner in one evening and what a view we had while fixing dinner!! Shawn is extremely responsive to all emails and answered any questions that we had. His condo is beautiful and I would rent this unit again. Getting to Destin from Okaloosa Island just took a few minutes and the beaches in Destin looked to be much more crowded than Okaloosa Island. We ate dinner out and enjoyed the restaurants in Destin - The Back Porch was great for an afternoon lunch...McGuires Irish Pub was delicious with a great atmosphere and decor...Both Fisherman's Wharf and LaPaz had good food...Our favorite restaurant by far was Louisiana Lagniappe. The food was delicious, great service, and a beautiful view of the harbor. We also enjoyed Harbor Walk in Destin and we loved the sunset cruise on the SeaBlaster. We saw quite a few dolphins and the sunset on the water was beautiful. We had a wonderful time in Okaloosa - the only thing missing was the "emerald coast." Due to storms, the water wasn't as colorful as normal. I am ready to go back!!

WOW!!!! We were really impressed with this condo. Shawn the owner has been with me from the get go. Providing information that was needed and making sure everything was to our liking was extremely imprtant to Shawn. You will not need anything with this condo. Everything is provided. Shawn was kind enough to allow us to check in earlier as the guest prior to us left earlier than the 10:00 Departure time. There is so much to do around here that you wont lack for any idle time. Of course the most beautiful beaches are just outside your door. We give this condo a 10 out of 10 as it is the best by far we have stayed in!! The condo was FANTASTIC! The view with so many windows was breathtaking. We had a group of five adults & 1 child. It was the perfect size for us. The master bed/bath was gorgeous! One thing to mention that may have been on the condo details but I could have failed to read was the second bedroom does not have a bathroom in it. There are three baths but one is in the hallway. It would have been a little more convenient had it been in the bedroom but we made it work. One added touch was the bathrooms had real size toiletries. Normally any condo we have stayed only has small travel sizes. A nice touch noticed by everyone who stayed here. Shawn was awesome to work with. He responded quickly & accurately to reserve as well as to refund the deposit. We will definitely consider staying here next year! :)

We stayed 7 days at this condo last week and had a fabulous time! Very pleased with the location, condo, view and set-up. Beautiful view. Owner was easy to work with and prompt to reply by email with any questions. Loved the personal access code to get into the unit set just for us so we didn't have to carry around a key or card to the beach. Little touches like shampoo, detergent, soap and face cleaner were added bonuses. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths gave us all room to ourselves without stepping on top of each other. This is a fabulous place to stay! Very clean, owner is excellent to work with never had any issues at all! The only suggestion I would have is that the carpets in the master bedroom be cleaned as you can smell a musty smell, which may not even be the carpets may be the air ducts need cleaned, just a friendly suggestion. The view of this condo is like nothing you have every seen! Once again I cannot speak enough about how extremely helpful and informative the owner is to work with made my trip so easy! My family stayed at Waters Edge 603 for a week in July. We have been to Okaloosa Island many times and this is by far the best condo yet! The condo was beautifully decorated, very clean, very roomy and very comfortable! My boys loved the bunk beds and there were many "special extras" ! What a great condo & view. The unit was ready on time and as described by the owner. The owner was great to deal with and has a welcome packet that has all the information needed during your stay. Great experience staying in this condo and dealing with the owner. Always answered all my questions promptly. Went on a family vacation with 35 family members, and our condo was the envy of everyone. Nice accomedations and beautiful view. I would definitely recommend and stay in this condo again.

Our family had an amazing stay in this condo. The owners have thought of absolutely everything and it is even nicer than the pictures on the site. There is plenty of space in the condo for everyone to spread out and all of the furnishings are in great shape. I cannot stress enough how nice everything in the condo is. We have stayed at several other condos in Fort Walton Beach and, while they have all been nice, there was always something not right in each one of them, until now. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and we will certainly rent again when we return. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Fort Walton Beach to seriously look at this Waters Edge 603.

We are retired snowbirds who have spent the last 12 winters on Okaloosa Island. We have stayed in many different buildings and 3 bedroom condos, including, The AZURE, The Summer Place and different units in The Waters Edge, including this unit under a different owner, in 2004 and 2006. This place is the best! My best advice: Choose a unit that the owner himself uses, and takes pride in. This unit has been upgraded and is Top Shelf! Our family had a wonderful stay in this condo. Everything was there that we needed for our stay. We appreciated the comfortable beds with the quality sheets. You cannot underestimate the importance of good beds and sheets if you are accustomed to nice hotels. The condo was very clean and perfect for our family. We enjoyed use of the kitchen and dining room for a number of our meals. The beaches were AWESOME, and one of the reasons we chose this area for spring break. The pools were nice too. I highly recommend this condo and this area if you're coming to the Destin area for vacation.

We just returned from a week in paradise! The nicest place we have ever stayed!! Clean, comfortable, and private! We enjoyed the view each morning while having breakfast on the huge patio, watching the dolphins pass by. If your not a fan of the sand the patio is also a great place to work on your tan! The owner makes the rental process so quick and easy! I would recommend this condo to anyone planning a trip to the Ft.Walton Beach area!

Our family just spent a week at this unit and had a great time. The listing description is very accurate and the photos accurately reflect the appearance of the rental unit. Actually, the unit is much better in person than the photos show! We were there during the Lee Tropical Storm and were inside for three full days - and had plenty of room to spread out for playing games, watching movies, cooking, etc. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Great experience for us - will definitely book this unit again. My 85-yr old mom was with us and commented several times how wonderful this unit was and how beautiful the beach was. My family stayed in this condo the first week of August 2011. The pictures don't do the actual condo justice! The view was absolutely beautiful and the condo itself was perfect. The owners provided everything we needed to enjoy our week on Okaloosa Island. The condo itself was clean and decorated very nice - to include a HUGE master bedroom and bathroom. Since this condo is on the 6th floor, even while doing dishes or cooking in the kitchen, you can look out the huge sliding glass doors at the ocean! We had five family members staying there to include two teenage boys and a nine year old girl - and everyone had plenty of room (and could have had more stay with us). The owners were very professional yet pleasant regarding the deposit, the condo information, and the follow-up. We will definitely be back!!!

This condo is truly a wonderful place to stay! It has all the amenities of home, plus a magnificent view!! The pictures truly depict this condo. There was enough space for us all to stretch out, relax and enjoy! The owner has done a fantastic job with the modern decor, upscale furnishings. The resort grounds are very well kept and the pool is beautiful!! The beach service is a plus, as when we were ready to enjoy the beach, our chairs were there waiting for us to occupy them! Very convenient location, there are convenience stores within walking distances and some restaurants were just a stroll up the boulevard as well as some beach shops. Shawn is very helpful and very prompt to answer any questions you may. I am so glad my family and I were able to call this beautiful condo home while on vacation. We hope to make it back to the area and most definetly will call upon Shawn and beautiful unit number 603!!!

Our family had a wonderful vacation staying at Water's Edge. Everything about the listing was correct and the photos were very accurate to the condo when we arrived. The unit was very clean, with beautiful furnishing, and modern amenities. The view from the 6th floor was unbelievable. We were able to watch the dolphins one morning from the kitchen table! The condo is close to the elevator for easy access to the parking garage but it is far enough in the corner that there is not disruptive hallway traffic. My family absolutely loved our time in this condo - it was roomy, yet cozy. It was elegantly decorated and felt like home. And it was a perfect place for our 1 year old to play too. It's great when a vacation rental can cover all of those bases! The view from the balcony was so amazing - all 5 of us could sit out on the balcony together and enjoy the view and relax. We saw dolphins swimming almost every day, which was a wonderful surprise. I can't recommend this place enough - we will definitely be back!

My family (with 4 young children) had a great time at this condo over our spring break. The condo was perfect! It was very clean and had everything we needed... 3 nice bathrooms and bedrooms, laundry, nice kitchen with new appliances, great balcony and view. We love that this condo has the family room and dining room in the front with a bigger balcony compared to some of the other condos that have the master bedroom in the front. The wider balcony and open dining room/family room makes for a beautiful view and feels more spacious! We love Fort Walton Beach because the beaches are not crowed and very family friendly. We often visit Destin in the evenings and recommend the Sea Blaster for a fun family boat ride... very affordable and enjoyable. We also love going to Bay Town Warf in Sand Destin one evening for entertainment and eating. The Crap Trap in Fort Walton has great food and the kids love playing on the playground on the beach. All in all, Fort Walton is great family vacation spot! You will love staying in this pent house condo and working with these owners. They made staying at this condo as easy as possible!

We've been going to Ft. Walton the past 10 years we've stayed at the Waters Edge a few times before and this is the nicest place we've stayed at in the Waters Edge. It has all been updated and newly renovated. Would definitely stay here again! The view was great and we had plenty of space for the people we stayed with and all of our young children! This condo was very roomy with 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. The decor was very nice and recently updated and all the things that you would want or need were here. We saw dolphins swim in front of the condo each morning and the balcony had a gorgeous view of the ocean. We have just returned from a fantastic vacation, There were two couples sharing this immaculate condo and we have had the holiday of a lifetime! The condo is extremely spacious, well cleaned & maintained with all the appliances that make life simple, like the huge refrigerator, dishwasher & laundry appliances on site which I found a real plus. There were also nice thoughtful touches like the spa products in the bathroom. Soft white towels were plentiful ! The dolphins put on free shows almost daily and can be seen from the balcony which has comfortable seating to help you relax and watch the world go by. The area has plenty of good restaurants , among our favourites are the Old Bay Steamer ( which you can easily walk to ) and Buffalo's Reef which has the best spicy wings you could ever eat ! We also enjoyed Sunday Brunch at Anglers which offered bottomless champagne. We enjoyed golfing , walking the beach & swimming in the lovely pool.The weather was beautiful & the area very friendly.What more could you possibly want from a vacation ? Our famiy trip to the beach was perfect. Your condo was beautiful, and decorated so nicely. When we are away from home, we like to stay in nice places. Your's met our requirements. :) The water was beautiful, I even got in the ocean (something I don't normally do). The beach was white as snow and the breezes kept us cool. Your balcony - love it!
