Highly recommended. The space is perfect for large groups—very comfortable, spacious, and well set up. The hosts were amazing: kind, responsive, and super helpful throughout our stay. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time at Higher Ground Thanksgiving week. The cabin is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. There was a gorgeous Christmas tree in the living room. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, fire pit, pool table and fireplaces. We made great memories! Host was so responsive. Just a great experience!!! Highly recommend this cabin!

The home looked just like the photos. As soon as we arrived and looked around, my kids said the house was gorgeous and they wished they could live there. It really was gorgeous. There’s a TV in every room. The outdoor patio off the main level was very nice. We enjoyed a movie one night out there and we enjoyed lighting a fire in the fireplace. It felt cozy.
The indoor pool was amazing. Luxurious. We didn’t want to get out. The hot tub outside was a cool place to hang. Plenty of space for all 10 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. The long dinner table was a nice touch and a great place for all of us to eat together and play games. They provided us with some essentials like extra toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags and laundry detergent. Check out was a breeze. They were incredibly responsive to all my questions and friendly. I’d definitely stay there again.

The home is beautiful! Each room is large with its own bathroom. The kitchen has basic kitchen appliances & dishes, but you’ll need to bring seasonings. The home is about 20 mins from a few fast food chains and grocery stores. They do have a small town square with restaurants/bars. The host respond very quickly!

Our group stayed at this cabin for a birthday celebration, and it was everything we hoped for and more! The cabin was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The indoor pool was a major highlight—it added such a fun and relaxing element to our stay.
The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the views were stunning. We also appreciated how peaceful and private the location was. Everything was just as described, if not better.
We made unforgettable memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in the Blue Ridge area!

This was a great house for our yearly friend’s Christmas getaway! The kitchen was extremely well equipped for all our cooking needs. The house itself is beautiful. We did have an issue with one of the indoor fireplaces, management was very attentive and it was fixed temporarily but then went out again, which was a bit of a letdown. There was plenty of room for our group of 9 adults, with everyone having their own bathroom, which was great. The neighborhood is quiet, hiking trail across the road was fun. We did have an issue with next door neighbor leaving their outside lights on ALL night. The master bedroom only has partial window coverings, so the upper windows allowed in all that light. The bunk bed room has no window coverings whatsoever which we felt was a bit odd. The house was in a great location.

We had an absolutely amazing time! The cabin was so beautiful, exquisitely decorated and incredibly clean. The Christmas tree was a beautiful focal point in the living room, making for a great family photo! Nights by the fire, dinners at the beautiful table and fun times in the pool and hot tub made for a great week. The staff was so responsive to my questions and provided great information on the area. We celebrated my 65th birthday and Thanksgiving with our family, and made some joyous memories. Thank you for everything!!!! We definitely plan a return visit.

This was our second time staying at Higher Ground, this time with a group of 8 women for a long weekend retreat. We had plenty of space for a yoga class, in-cabin spa sessions, games, crafts, and lots of fun, food, and drinks. We love the finishing touches in the home that make it feel special and luxe, and when we encountered a minor issue with the front door lock upon arrival, they fixed it remotely over the phone, then someone was onsite within a few minutes to help. I'm blown away by the property and by the management company, which is why we keep coming back to their properties!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! The location was perfect—private, quiet, and offering stunning views of the surrounding area. The cabin was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our group of 10, providing everyone with their own space to relax while also offering fantastic common areas for group activities.
The dining table was a standout feature, making it easy for everyone to gather and share meals together. The cabin was well-stocked with all the necessary amenities, including plenty of dishes and dishwasher pods, which made cleanup a breeze. There was also ample fridge and storage space, plus the bonus of a mini fridge downstairs.
Overall, it was a perfect spot for our getaway, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Highly recommend.

We booked this trip for our best friends bachelorette party, and it was the perfect mix between modern amenities and a cozy cabin feel! Everything was very clean and the host was extremely responsive when we had any questions! The kitchen is extremely stocked for cooking, we did breakfast and dinner every single day. We are very thankful and had the most amazing trip! PS don’t forget to sign the cabin guestbook. It’s really cool to see all of the previous trips that have been there!

We truly loved this home. It was absolutely beautiful. We were 8 couples with 4 kids and we all enjoyed ourselves. They had a new high chair and pack& Play for one of the toddlers . The indoor pool was such a great addition- the water was warm so we could enjoy it at anytime. The decor was top notch. They provided different options of activities for different age groups. Kitchen was fully equipped (if you plan to cook like we did - bring your spices and oils ). The home was clean . The area felt very safe. We communicated with the hosts prior and during our stay and they were very nice and responded extremely fast. Our group highly recommends this Airbnb. We will come back and visit their other properties. Thank you 😊

I chose this property as we have stayed here previously for a Bachelor party weekend. It was my girlfriend's 40th Birthday and we booked this weekend with 12 of her friends from different time periods of her life. This house accommodated all 14 of us very nicely. Enough room for everyone. Indoor pool was nice for rainy days, and the hot tub for cooler nights. Safe to say the outdoor fire place seating area was everyone's favorite place to be. Will definitely keep Higher Ground in mind for future trips!

We had a great time at this property. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Beds were super comfortable. Just a heads up which we wished we had was that the pantry is empty- the basics like salt/pepper were also missing. So carry everything you might need including washing machine pods as they want you to run a a load with towels, but had provided tiny amount of washing liquid. Other than that it is a great property and hosts were very responsive and flexible. Check out instructions are minimal which is always a positive. Highly recommended!!!

This place was amazing and accommodated our group of 10 adults and six kids so loud. Plenty of space, dining necessities. They did not provide any shampoo, conditioner, or soap and minimal dishwasher pods, but did bring more when requested. I highly recommend and would stay here again. Very clean nice decor.

Beautiful home. Lovely area. Peaceful, picturesque sunsets and sunrises. Living areas and bathrooms clean. Beds slept well. Furniture very comfy. Amenities- great. Loved the security measures for pool. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes.
We were a group of 10 and had plenty space to do things together or enjoy the house in smaller groups.

We have always had a great experience renting from Coastal Vibe, and our most recent stay at Higher Ground was truly next-level! The rental was open a little early (always helpful when they let us know so we can enjoy extra time), and they've taken such care to make sure everything you need is in the home. The beds are THEE most comfortable I've ever slept on in a rental and the bathrooms are gorgeous. Everything about the home is remarkable, and then you get to the indoor pool and I was just blown away. It was such a treat to have fun like kids in the pool in February, then run outside for a dip in the hot tub. They even had everything we needed for the fire pit. The house is easy to get to, close to town, and everything was spotless. I can't recommend it enough, in fact we have another stay at Higher Ground already booked!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was impecable, very well equipped, perfect for 3 families. All of us were so comfortable, the decoration is so beautiful!!! The kids had a lot of fun sleeping in the bunk beds and having their own space. The ping pong table is a highlight as well as the pool and hot tub. The terrace was my favorite place l, having a drink while bbq was getting done. I would repeat the stay and recommend for sure for any family or group of friends that want to spend quality time together. We also did the hikes inside the complex, they are beautiful and perfect for morning or afternoon walk after meals! The customer service was excellent, they answered every question quickly and politely. They helped me find the perfect house for our trip! We have no complains, we only have good memories! My family and I enjoyed staying at the most fantastic cabin for Christmas, and we can't stop raving about it! The cabin was the perfect blend of cozy and luxurious. The cabin had stunning views of the surrounding forest and a warm, inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Despite the chilly weather outside, we could swim in the heated pool, which was the perfect way to relax and unwind. The pool area was beautifully designed, with comfortable lounge chairs and plenty of space to hang out and play card games.
