This was a beautiful place to stay. The beach this year was full of jellyfish and sea weed but we had a great time in the lazy river and hot tubs. There is a grill on the rooftop. Very convenient. The local coffee shops are great too. You are also 5 miles from Destin harbor at this location. I highly recommend this place. Great customer service as well.

This was our second time staying at Destin West and this condo did not disappoint! It's perfect size for our family of five and the views are amazing. The amenities and short walk to the beach kept us busy for our entire stay. Coastal Vibes was excellent to book through and the personalized beach towel was a great surprise upon checking in, which was also the easiest check in process we've experienced.

This is our second stay at the Sanpiper Ph-08- and I believe our 8th time at Destin West! The condo was clean and beautiful. We have an amazing view of both the gulf and the bayside. Our family loves watching sunrise from the rooftop, we even caught two fireworks shows! I would recommend walking over to the beach for the pier fireworks. It's an amazing experience. The personalized towel was a kind gesture! We used it all week! Fun was had- our kids shed a few tears when we departed. I may have too! We will undoubtedly be back!

We loved this Penthouse unit! My daughter and her friend loved having the open rooftop patio for tanning as well as having the beach and bayside resort to change the day. My son and I are gym rats and loved having the very well-equipped gym to keep in our workout regime on pace. My wife and I loved the comfy, cozy, yet surprisingly spacious condo. We had morning coffee on our master patio without disturbing the teens beauty sleep. The location is close enough to both Fort Walton and Destin, but is not right in the middle of the madness. Absolutely would come back!

We have family in the area and come every year with our grandkids for a week vacation. First time in this unit and loved it. There is always so much to do. We love the lazy river, pools and boat dock. The kids love the sound area to swim and catch crabs. We enjoyed the top deck of the condo and even got to see fireworks twice the week we stayed. This condo has everything you need and is so nicely decorated. The note and personalized towel was so thoughtful.

We've stayed at Destin West 7 times, each time unique. The absolutely loved our experience in this condo. It was clean and well equipped. The furniture was nice and the master bed was extremely comfortable. The kids loved the bunk rooms and even slept on the pullout one night. We enjoyed fireworks from the roof three different times! My boyfriend ended up getting food poisoning right after arriving, after driving him back to Ga and staying a day with him to make sure he’d be ok, I decided to go back by myself and salvage the last two days. Our stay at this VRBO condo was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even providing an early check-in so we didn't feel displaced for a moment. The convenience of the elevator was appreciated, and once we stepped onto the patio and rooftop, we were greeted by breathtaking views that exceeded our expectations. We stayed here at the recommendation of my sister who stays every year for the month of February. Instead of staying with them we got our own place, and what a great one it was! The extra balcony facing the bay was great for morning sun and coffee. The unit was supplied with everything you need, and more. We loved the personalized beach towel and note that welcomed us. We met so many fun people at the pool, which we used everyday. The resort is so clean (thanks Kevin). We were very lucky to hit 8 days of perfect weather. Will definitely go back.

The location was great. Close enough to attractions whether walking or driving.
The beach bridge was a little confusing on how to get there but JT (maintenance) directed us and was also helpful in giving us suggestions on restaurants and places to see Christmas lights!
Even though it is winter, the weather was great. (65-+ each day) The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable and even the beach. We also walked on the marina pier and saw many fish😁
The roof top was beautiful and we watched every sunset. Great vacation!

We had a fantastic stay at Sandpiper PH08!! We didn't get a chance to try out the pool, but it looked amazing!! We LOVED the private beach on the Gulf side. We would definitely stay in this condo again, but next trip we might try to find something right on the beach, because being at the beach was our favorite part of our trip!! This place was absolutely amazing! Beautiful inside and out! Very clean! I’m OCD and usually clean with Clorox wipes when we go somewhere but didn’t have to with this penthouse. Had a few minor maintenance issues that were resolved promptly. Owner/property manager was easy to get a hold of and to work with. Maintenance guy (TJ, I think that was his name) was very friendly and even gave outstanding suggestions on places to eat and things to do. Having a wagon to carry all the things was great. My only complaint had nothing to do with this penthouse. I love the beach and there was only so much beach space for this property and then there were two rows of vendors chairs and umbrellas, so if you had your own chairs and tent you where so far back off of the water. It made it harder to enjoy the beach and to keep your eyes on the kids. Thankfully I have teenagers but the water was rough during our stay so I need to keep my eyes on them since they have no fears. I will definitely be back! Jen really goes above and beyond for her guest.

This property was amazing. We we’re in Ft Walton for a softball tournament. It is located close to the hood sport complex which was amazing. We we’re able to go back to the condo in between games and relax. The views from the rooftop were spectacular watching the sunrise. It was a very clean and family friendly. It was exactly like the pictures we have no complaints at all. And to top it off the owners had a beach towel personalized with our name on it with a very nice welcome card. We had a bad experience at a condo rented from a different owner prior to this and actually checked out after staying only one night. My husband and I stayed at this condo for 6 days to attend a destination wedding in Ft. Walton Beach in December. The condo was well stocked with everything you could possibly need and immaculately clean upon check in. The property is amazing and although we didn't have time to utilize the heated pool, it looked like there were plenty of people enjoying it and we did enjoy the multiple hot tubs available. This unit had a great view of the pool, lazy river, and bay. I highly recommend this unit and host, and look forward to a return stay one day!

Overall we were very happy with everything. Condo was clean. Bed was comfortable. A/C was nice and cold. The only thing I thought could have been different was the lazy river gets droppings from trees, and I wish it would have been cleaned or skimmed once or twice a day. I was up early enough to watch the pool maintenance staff. Emptying trash, adding chemicals, but never trim to skim off the floating debris from the foliage. Otherwise, it was a great stay. This was our second time to Destin West Beach and Bay and I’m sure we’ll be back.

The pool/deck area plus lazy River was an excellent place to sunbathe. Unfortunately we spent most of our time at a softball tournament so we had limited time to enjoy the amenities. The Destin West property is a fantastic stay for both families and adults. I have stayed in two different units on the property and they both were excellent. The Sandpiper building faces the intercoastal and has a constant view of boats passing by. It also overlooks the lazy river, zero entry pool and lounge areas. You can beat it. The property is well maintained and the layout of the one bedroom with bunks is perfect. This end unit has extra windows, a balcony off the master and a rooftop area. Coastal Vibes vacation is easy to work with, and this unit had everything needed for a great vacation. Jenn really thought of everything. We had two maintenance issues (unavoidable) and they were resolved quickly and easily despite the July 4th holiday. There are several restaurants within walking distance as well as boat and jet ski rentals right next door. The beach is across the street but there is an elevated walkway to the property and a wagon and other beach items are generously provided. You can see the beach from the front balcony and rooftop, but the really good sunset pictures do require a walk across to the beach at this time of year (just based on where the sun hits the water). Living in Florida as a family we have been all over the state for beach getaways. This was by far are favorite. The condo was clean and has amazing view. The property has pools and a beautiful lazy river Bayside. The property has a walkway to get to the Gulf so u do not have to cross traffic. We did a bunch of activities in Destin, pontoon boat rental, water park, go carts and mini golf.

We had an amazing stay at the sandpiper PH-08! The place was so clean, spacious and well-stocked. We had everything in the condo that we needed and it being at Destin West was an added plus!! The pool area was awesome and the walk to the beach was made easy by the city walk. The condo was very convenient to restaurants and the local boardwalk. Would recommend this condo to anyone!! This was our 2nd time to stay in this unit. From the moment you walk in the door everything was perfect. I'm pretty picky about checking to make sure everything is clean and it passed my white glove test with flying colors. The condo is tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything you need. Coastal vibe has outdone itself again! This is my second time in this unit and it's gotten better even though last time I stayed it was already 200% amazing! Quick notes: Perfect for Remote Working. We had 3 people working remotely and no issues with the internet ever occurred thanks to it's over 100mbps speed and Cox Router in the unit you could hook your Ethernet cable directly into. Well stocked kitchen with all the kitchen utensils you will ever need The new Keurig coffee maker was a plus! Tons of bath towels for your stay. Brand new Washer and dryer allow you to wash large loads as needed. 10 minute walk to the beach 1 minute walk to hot tubs and lazy river Check out the dock at sunset to see dolphins! The recent renovations to the kitchen sink and island allowed me to host board game nights easily and TONS of cooking space. Overall you cannot get better value for your money anywhere else on Okaloosa island. (I've stay at Gulf Dunes and Destin West Gulfside for comparison) The 3 patios are to die for especially the rooftop penthouse view! Barbecue grill is stocked well with utensils and is ready to use. The owner of this unit is the best owner I have worked with on Okaloosa. Stay with coastal vibe and especially this unit!!!

Good size unit. Very clean. So many options with local activities. Weather during our stay was 50s and 60s but we were still able to soak up some sun. Local seafood is amazing. Only negative for us country folk is the noise from the traffic started up around 5AM.

Our winter vacation was an amazing experience. My children had given my sister in law and I a four day-three night stay Destin West. It was our fist time staying in a penthouse. We arrived to a warm, welcoming environment. There were monogrammed beach towels for each of us making us feel very special. The unit was clean and inviting with a warm at home feeling. There were amazing beach views from the master balcony and harbor views from the living area. Being older ladies who had both been sick with COVID we were a little apprehensive about getting out in the crowds to dine so we decided we would bring and prepare our meals at the condo. We were very pleased at the thoughtfulness of the owner who had a well stocked kitchen with any utensil and cookware you could possibly need. We walked the beach as well as the harbor. This was the first time we actually felt rested when we started home. I would definitely recommend a winter vacation at Destin West.

This is one of my favorite VRBO properties! It was easy to get to and not very far from Fort Walton Beach airport. The condo was very clean and came stocked with everything you might need for a stay. The property was well managed, and the pool area was a really nice amenity. Be sure to bring your own beach towels though!! I hope to stay there again soon. :)

We love this property and keep coming back! The corner penthouse is so nice with extra side windows, an extra balcony on the front, and of course the roof access with several chairs and grill. This property was nothing short of perfect. It is exactly how the pictures show. It blew our expectations out of the water! My wife and I booked this property for our anniversary and late honeymoon since we didn't get to take one due to COVID. The host at this property left us a personalized gift, card and even flowers for our anniversary. If the nice condo, the amazing views and amenities weren't enough, the personal touches were definitely the cherry on top. So many great things to do and places to eat within walking distance. The beach was beautiful and she provides you with everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach. We got to meet the host and she is just as sweet in person as she seemed via emails. One of our chairs had broke as soon as we got to the beach and she was so kind and met us with a brand new chair. We had the best time staying here and I will be recommending it to all of our friends and family. We will be back!

We booked this condo for a week to celebrate our 5-year anniversary. With most places shut down last year, it was a much needed vacation. This condo exceeding our expectations in cleanliness, value, amenities, etc. The description was 100% accurate. Anything and everything you could possibly need has been thought of and provided for your use. Ample towels, kitchen wares, spare beach towels, spare kitchen items like aluminum foil, cooking oil, plastic utensils, etc. were on hand in case you forgot them and a trip to the store wasn’t convenient at that moment. The monogrammed towel, handwritten note, and complimentary postcards and stamps were so thoughtful!! And, I haven’t even mentioned the lazy river, 2 hot tubs, pool, and close proximity to restaurants and shopping! We also appreciated the list of suggested activities and favorite restaurants. When I say everything was thought of, it really was. Truly an amazing stay and I am so glad we stayed here. We will be back!!

Let me start of by saying how beautiful this property is. Check in and check out was so easy! You can tell the owners value their clients. We had a surprise gift waiting for us made by our host along with a handwritten note. My husband and kids actually got to meet the owner (we accidentally overslept and she was coming in to check on the place). As advertised, looks just like the photos. Impressive tanning top deck all to ourselves. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. Jet ski rental next door and just a beautiful condo. From the moment I reached out to Coastal Vibe to inquire about internet speed, their promptness and helpfulness got me to book right away. They have a very easy and secure booking process. The unit was spotless when I arrived and the keypad entry made it so easy to leave and enter as I needed without worrying about a key. The view... OUTSTANDING. Working conditions... THE BEST remote environment I have been in this year. Quiet, great internet speed and relaxing view and the internet never went out and was never spotty. I was on webex calls most days and never ran into an issue! You can also take calls outs on the porch and on the upstairs deck! The WiFi reaches up there and there are plenty of plugs to keep you wired in. Hot tub and pools were always clean! I loved having the beach chairs already in the unit which made going to the beach a breeze. Coastal vibes response rate is superior! Also, it was so easy to cook all my meals with the fully stocked kitchen! There was not a single thing I couldn't find. They had it all! Overall, amazing and relaxing vacation/remote working spot that I highly recommend to anyone traveling to Fort Walton this summer and winter! (Also the Uber rides are very affordable to get to local nightlife such as The Block, Mcquires, HarborWalk etc) you are close to everything!

This place has it all and then they added more little touches. It was so nice to have a fully stocked kitchen (all matching even), to the grill on the roof having full gas, extra amenities (washing detergent, garbage bags, tons of towels, paper towels, etc), to the personalized beach towel waiting on us when we arrived. It was right in the middle of the lazy river and pool area so we could easily keep an eye on the kids if we needed to run up and grab something. We enjoyed our stay so much, we stayed a little longer which was a very quick and simple process. We will be back!

We were visiting Fort Walton for business/pleasure and were very pleased with this 7th floor condo. The condo was exactly as the pictures represented, and I chose it because of all the great reviews. The master was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, the balcony off the master faces the beachfront across the street. Traffic noise was mild when inside the condo. The back balcony off the den faces the bay and this unit overlooks the pool and lazy river. We only walked to the beach a couple times since it was windy and cool and it would be a long walk with small children, but it was very safe walking across the skywalk. The owners have thought of everything you could ever want in this condo, including a wagon with umbrellas that could be taken to the beach. Even though we didn't use them, the bunk beds were adorably decorated for small kids and would work well for adults as it had a separate bathroom and door for privacy in the bunk bed area. We appreciated the attentiveness to every detail. The hand-written note and personalized gift was such a nice touch! We will definitely consider renting this condo again when in the area!

Very nice place ! We have stayed in this resort before even though this was this first time with this company. They were so nice and easy to work with!! With all the COVID stuff my husband was really nervous but was very happen and at peace once we arrived and saw how well they had taken care of everything !:) As soon as we walked I’m after a long day of travel there was the SWEETEST surprise for us !🥰 We all we’re so surprised and at same time we’re like ,”AWWWWWWWWWWW!!!” It was very thoughtful and very welcoming. This was our first stay at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort, Wow!! We had an incredible vacation and this condo is simply amazing! The owner has literally thought of everything. This unit has breath taking views overlooking the Bay and lazy river with a view of the ocean from the rooftop and master bedroom balcony. The Bayside is the place to be at this resort, just a 6 minute walk to the beach. Stop looking any further and book this Condo now, you will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back next year!

The condo was perfect for our family. We enjoyed watching fireworks on July 4th from the rooftop balcony! It was also nice to be able to watch my daughter floating by in the lazy river with her friends from the balcony. We were greeted with a handwritten note from the owners and a great gift. The nice personal touch blew us away! I posted about it and several friends asked for the link and said they would definitely support renting this unit. We had an issue with a slow drain in the shower and it was immediately addressed and fixed! We would definitely rent this unit again!

We had a wonderful vacation and found the condo perfect for needs. We spent most of our time either at the beach (convenient walk) or at the pool / lazy river. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking or several restaurants were within walking distance. The location was also close enough to Destin that those activities were also easily accessible. Great refreshing getaway after all of this quarantine mess.

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. The view overlooking the pools is fantastic. It’s within walking distance to several restaurants and there is a Tom Thumb right next door. There is a place to rent boats, jet skies etc, right next door and even though you cannot keep your boat/trailer there, Brooks Marina by the bridge was great for open slip or dry storage. My family will definitely be staying there again. The lazy river is amazing and one of the best!

Definitely a 5* property. We loved our two month stay. The unit was very homey and comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a super equipped kitchen. While the weather wasn’t the best we did manage to enjoy the private rooftop terrace a few times. The outdoor grill was a great bonus! The bayside and gulfside balconies were lovely too, with gorgeous views. Property Management communication was excellent. The thoughtful and generous owners definitely made us feel like we were very valued guests. We highly recommend the property, and would love to return again if we are back in the area. This was one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. Upon arrival the unit was spotless , by far the most clean condo I've ever seen. Everything was so well thought out, towels stocked, decor, kids room etc. the resort was great and the kids had a blast floating in the lazy river for hours at a time. I was a little worried because we have never stayed at condo on the bayside but the walk was a breeze even with a 3 and 4 war old. The BBQ on the top deck was great. We went fishing and grilled up some fish at sunset. Everything about this condo is gorgeous and well taken care of. We even got to check in early and head straight to the beach. We will definitely be back to this unit. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful condo.

The pics of this condo were spot on. We lived the openness, cleanliness and fully stocked kitchen. Unfortunately we’re unable to use the grill due to tropical storm Gordon. From the moment we walked into the condo we were impressed. Nicely decorated and well cared for. It makes you feel at home only better. All 3 balconies had great views and seating for a quiet comfortable place to to drink coffee and soak in the peace and salt water air. The view of the lazy river is better than the pictures can show. We split our days between the ocean and the lazy river. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could make meals and did not need to leave the Property. But there were many great restaurants close by where we ate dinner. WE LOVED OUR STAY and so will you.

Wow, just wow! PH-08 is absolutely perfect!  Ultra clean, spacious, relaxing, & romantic!  This was more than perfect for my wife an I during our two-week work-vacation...but this condo has plenty of room for a large family with its 2nd bedroom with bunk beds and a sleeper sofa in the large livingroom. The fully furnished kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and a full size fridge.  The condo is brand new inside...immaculately excellent!  It's so fresh, inviting, and comfortable!  It's like being at home...but better! We love waking up in the morning in the master bedroom and stepping on to the balcony to the gorgeous Emerald Coast Gulf view!  Then walking thru the the living room onto the bayside balcony overlooking the bay and dolphins swimming by...thos place has the best of both worlds! Plus the bayside balcony overlooks the wonderful lazy river, swimming pools, and two jacuzzi hot tubs! It's a beautifully relaxing view that is quite addictive...LOL! We also loved the easy walk access to the beach were we took moonlit walks on the beach and watched families with kids with flashlights, shovels and nets catching sand crabs and small fish in the shore surf. We had a fabulous time. I could keep ram on about how great this condo and location is but wife wants me to come to bed, LOL! But she does want to say that, WE WILL BE BACK! Stay here...you won't be disappointed!!
