This was our third year staying at Destin West beach and bay resorts and third time booking with hosts of Coastal Vibes. Destin West is our favorite place to stay and this condo has been our favorite thus far! The sandpiper building is right in the center of it all for the best views. The ease of access to the lazy river pool off the lanai entrance was a big win for our crew! The access to both beach and bay side is what keeps us coming back year after year. The hosts are super informative and on top of things. Condo was very spacious and equipped indoor and outdoor with beach chairs/wagon included for your use if needed. Checking in and out was a breeze. Can't beat this location as it is close to all our favorite restaurants , shops and close enough if you want to venture into Destin for the day or even go to Navarre. We can't wait till next year!

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of room & our opened to the heated pool/hot tub which was nice because weather in Florida was a bit cold. Walk to the beach was short, although you will go up/down 3 or 4 elevators, it honestly wasn’t a big deal. The beach was very clean and beautiful and the apartment included a wagon and some beach stuff which was great. Would stay again!

Had I known how much my kids were going to love the ocean and the beach I would have pick one of David’s condos closer to that but it wasn’t a bad walk at all! Our circle of friends put me in charge of finding our girls week to Florida. This condo looked so great online. We booked and counted the days. There was an issue that required maintenance. David responded quickly and the issue was taken care of right away. The condo was bright and light. David provided a lot of suggestions for food and fun. We quickly figured out the tall sills on the door and because we are a pack of grannies we put a chair in front of the door to remind us to step over. I will 100% recommend this condo to everyone. What a great place to stay. Being able to walk out to the pool and hot tubs from the first floor back porch was AMAZING. Taking the catwalk to the beach across the street was very convenient. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for our family of 7 and we all had plenty of room/space to relax comfortably. The next time we're in FWB, we'll be staying here.

Great location, stayed at this place multiple times. The lower level is by far the best way to go the patio is huge and makes it easy to get down to the lazy river. What makes it that much better are the little things they have like beach wagons, all kinds of buckets and nets for the kids, beach chairs, and umbrellas. Overall, very clean place and and worth it. Obviously, over 6 people it gets a little testy with the couches but it’s doable and there is plenty of extra space. (We had 8 of us and no complaints)
Fishing off the pier nearby is easy and fun. The private dock on the bayside is full of catfish and sometimes nice sized crabs.

This is a great condo! It was very clean when we arrived and we’re able to access a little bit early! The condo stayed cool in the high heat. There are plenty of beach and pool accessories so I wouldn’t worry about bringing any. I would suggest stopping at a souvenir store and getting a chair float for the lazy river they are more comfy than inner-tubes and honestly pretty inexpensive at the shops. The boardwalk is so close and if you go early you will probably see a shark and or sea turtles! There are also great restaurants and shops there as well. My children had a great time going to all of the swimming pools there are quite a few! The beach is beautiful! There is a walk but once you get it down it’s nothing and is an easy walk to the beach.
I would also highly suggest Sun Dogs for parasailing in Destin! They were wonderful!
I would highly recommend this condo! We had a great time!!

Very nice room, we had a haul to the beach from condo pulling a beach wagon, stroller, chairs, beach bags, coolers with 2 three year olds, 5 month old & a eight year old. Beach had so many umbrellas and chairs seat up hard to get to water.

Perfect setting for our family with 3 teens and a four year old. Plenty to do for the entire family right at the condo and nearby as well. We spent lots of time at the beach and pool. Morning walks to see the stingrays and crabs in the mornings will be one of our favorite memories.

Beautiful condo, convenient to everything and walkable to restaurants and beach. Had everything I needed to make an early thanksgiving dinner since all the family was together. Only negatives, and these are only a little, was It could have been a bit cleaner and the heated pools weren’t that warm. Loved our stay!

We had an awesome week at our Coastal Vibe Condo. It was the perfect about of space for 8 people (4 kids). The kids loved the bunk bed and the beds were very comfy. We loved the open space and the huge patio outside. The pool choices and lazy river were amazing. It was nice to have options when taking the kids outside to swim. The palm trees provided so much privacy. We would stay again for sure! It was in tue perfect lactation with easy access to so many places!

Great location in the Sandpiper L04 condo. We had a small problem with the grill on our first night. The response was immediate and the grill was replaced the next morning. That's customer service at it's best. The condo was perfect for our family and we enjoyed a great week of beach and pool time. I would rent this unit again without hesitation.

This place is perfect family friendly resort. This condo especially convenient as it was located on first level and had quick, easy access to pools, no elevators, just walk out gate and you are there! So helpful with little ones. If the beach is more your thing, its a nice, longer than expected walk over the skybridge-- but not terrible. Unfortunately, we had double red flags for swimming at the beach all week so pools were a life saver!! The condo and coastal vibe was awesome! Very easy check in and check out. The condo was better than expected in pictures! We are already looking to book here again.

The kids' room is smaller than expected, but our 3 littles enjoyed the bunk beds. The other 2 rooms have huge comfortable king beds and large bathrooms perfect for families. The location was perfect on a private portion of Okaloosa Island and only a short 10 min. drive to Destin. Restaurants fill each evening and have long wait times, so we prepared most meals in the condo which was perfect (there is a Publix 1 mile away). The beach is accessible over the crosswalk which provides a safe way to cross the street. We loved our stay!

This condo was wonderful! Being able to walk to the pool from the back door was amazing! It was well stocked and clean. The walk to the beach is a little long however they provide a cart to load all your things in so it really wasn't bad! would definitely stay here again!

The space is great! It has good beds for people to sleep, a good kitchen to cook real meals, and a great patio with a grill that walks out to the lazy river and hot tubs. Would definitely stay there again.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The amenities are wonderful. Having a lazy river, heated pool and hot tub steps from your back door was amazing. It is conveniently located close to shops, restaurants and the beach as well. The only issues we had, which were minor, were that the grill needed a good cleaning and the hair dryer was broken, but those are not anything we were too concerned about. Otherwise we had no issues. It was easily accessible and fun to hang out at. We also enjoyed the bay access. We would definitely stay here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Our stay was amazing! For myself, my husband and three teenagers it was plenty room! The weather was overcast and rainy around 60degrees most of the time,however the beautiful, clean, and comfortable condo with games and movies was perfect for this. The hot tub and heated pools were very close to the condo, even with the cooler temps we were able to enjoy them through our stay! Would definitely recommend to family and friends!!

We had a great stay at David's place. I loved the location and enjoyed walks on the bay side and the gulf on the other side of the street. I enjoyed opening the curtains and seeing the palm trees and lazy river/pools right outside of our unit. Our children loved having heated pools on the cool days and evenings. This place is convenient to many restaurants, easy beach access, and convenient to Ft. Walton and Destin entertainment. After playing during the day, we had a great night's sleep as beds were extremely comfortable. I highly recommend David's place!

We loved our stay at David's condo. Large outdoor space and proximity to lazy river can't be beat. Had no issue finding close covered parking. Walk to beach was not bad at all. Beds were very comfortable. Though this is a large complex and this particular unit is on the ground floor, we never had issues with noise from neighbors. Would love to stay here again.

We had a great vacation at Destin West. The pool and lazy river were exactly what we needed for some great R&R. The condo was a perfect location. The room setup was very comfortable for our group of 7 adults. We would recommend this location for everyone!

Property is in a great location. Can’t beat that lazy river pool and the unit is right next to it with an enormous patio. My wife and I coasted around that pool multiple times. Hot tub made for some great conversation too. Met some really nice people.
In terms of beach access, I’m used to staying at beach properties where you have to walk to the beach. I recommend a roller cooler and roller beach wagon to carry your things. That made it pretty easy to get across the bridge to the beach. The Destin West beach area built their beach kits three deep when we stayed so if you bring your own kits (umbrellas and chairs) you can usually find a spot close to the bar. We set upon the Seaspray side a couple times and no one said anything.
David is an awesome host. Responded quickly to our requests. He also has a team working for him that is super helpful. I left a laptop there and they went out of their way to get it back to me. On a Saturday to boot!
The spaciousness of the unit with that balcony overlooking the pool together with David’s hospitality made our vacation. I would definitely stay again.

Very convenient location. Short walk to the beach. Bottom floor and steps away from the lazy river and pool. Everything that we forgot for the beach was provided (chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, etc.) Except for beach towels. I brought a gang of college spring breakers and we were rowdy at times but David was very understanding.

Great place a short walk from probably one of the best beaches in the US. We enjoyed all the outdoor amenities - multi-level patio facing a lazy river, heated pool and hot tubs as well as the location. The interior floorplan offered plenty of kitchen, dining and visiting space and sleeping space for 8 comfortably. We would definitely book this place again. Our host was responsive and check-in/check-out was a breeze.

We have rented condos from David Jenn of Coastal Vibe Vacation for years and we are never ever disappointed. With growing girls, we had to go with a larger condo this year and this one fit the bill perfectly. We love being on the lower level of Destin West and being able to let our 4 girls come and go to the pool and lazy river. The outdoor grill worked perfect and the space was beautiful. Thanks David. Our family of 4 (kids 5 & &) very much enjoyed this perfectly located condo. Not only was it a great location within the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach area which was minutes away from all major attractions, some even within walking distance. It was also co-located to the Pool & Lazy River of which my kids were in everyday! This condo was VERY nice! We were traveling with my daughter's softball team for a World tournament. The patio area was so spacious and only steps away from the Lazy River! The condo had everything that you need to cook. It even had a cart with beach chairs and toys for building sand castles (which my son loved)!!! If we end up in Destin again for any reason, this will be the condo that we will be looking to book! Thank you so much for an awesome place to stay! :)

6 of us stayed for a week. David was readily available to help with check in, which eased our anxiety from booking on-line. Condo provided everything we needed + some extras like BBQ pit, Beach cart with chairs & toys, Netflix for the rainy days & they dropped off a rainy day bag with coloring book, colored pensils, candy, popcorn & a pass for Redbox during (what was supposed to be) a tropical storm. Easy access to lazy river, hot tubs, pools & short walking distance to both bay & gulf. We’d stay there again!

Had a great time. The only improvement would be use if the garage. For the facility as a whole, the ability to access the bridge from the condo buildings would make things easier. Going down the stairs only to go back up the stairs to the bridge is somewhat of a pain.
