Wonderful very communicative host! The unit was ready 2 hours early, which was perfect! The room was comfortable, cool, and QUIET! Awesome beds, too. I walked into a very nice surprise gift upon arrival--nice touch! We rented We had a family vacation and rented 4 units in the community. If only the weather was better, but you can't control that! I would definitely rent this condo again.

This condo was great for staying with small children. We enjoyed the view of the pool/bay in the mornings and evenings. I especially appreciated the door locks on the front door and sliding glass door that my 3 year old could t reach/figure out.

Clean and beautiful condo with amazing view. Unit is tastefully decorated with very pretty beach theme. Has full-size washer and dryer in it very nice! Has bunk room for the kids with the TV. It is very convenient to go down to lazy River or one of the pools. Just a short walk to the beach using the skywalk. Unit has wagon, beach chairs, and beach toys, and is easy to take to beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. Clean facility with friendly staff and family oriented. Nice covered parking. Definitely would stay there again! I was pleasantly surprised by the gift of the really nice monogrammed beach towel! That was special! Check in and check out was super easy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo! The hosts were truly amazing—responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. They even provided our own personal monogrammed big fluffy beach towel, which was such a thoughtful and special touch! We had a small hiccup with one of the beds, but they handled it quickly and graciously, which we really appreciated.
The unit itself is beautifully furnished with modern touches that make you feel like you're living in luxury. Everything was sparkling clean and thoughtfully prepared. While it is listed as a top-floor unit, it's actually one floor down (the 7th is top floor), so we didn’t quite get the rooftop sunset view we were hoping for—but honestly, everything else more than made up for it.
The combination of the hosts' hospitality, the fabulous lazy river, and the quality of the space made this a five-star experience all around. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location! Near John Beasley park which is a nice area to hang in the beach with rinse stations and restroom. . We walked most days around the area unless we had activities to do in Destin which was just 5-10 minutes away to main attractions and restaurants on that side. Fished on okaloosa Pier. Enjoyed the heated pool since it was chilly on the days we visited. Felt safe in the area. Boardwalk is right across the street. Nice personal gift* thanks :) totally recommend!

This was a really nice condo on the 6th floor. Great views of the Bay and Pool/Lazy River. Walk over to the beach was about 5 min and you use the pedestrian bridge. There are a few restaurants on that side too. But the best food we found was at McGuires Irish Pub in Destin. AMAZING! Did not have a car and UBER was readily available if needed. You can walk next door to the Tom Thumb for any kind of snack or drink you may need. Condo was clean, had everything needed in the kitchen, and even small shampoo/conditioner in bathroom's. Bed was comfy and shower was hot. Super nice VRBO!!

This Airbnb was outstanding! The space was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and felt like new. It was easy to access, with clear instructions provided for check-in and out. This condo was wonderful for a 5 day trip to Destin with our 4 year old. The decor was beachy and inviting, and the condo was very clean. There was enough of the TP, paper towels and things like that for the duration of our stay. I truly don't think we would have enjoyed ourselves as much staying in a hotel with a child this age. The condo had everything you need to stay comfortable and even hang back when we didn't want to go out. We purchased some light groceries and went out to eat for dinner. There was a list of recommended places that we took everywhere with us that was super helpful! We went to the beach one day, and they couldn't have made it easier. There was a large cart with chairs, umbrellas, and even some beach toys! The beach was across the street and accessible by the skywalk. Our condo had a view of the beautiful pools and lazy river, where we spent lots of time! We loved the laid back vibe and that the condo was located only a quick drive away from the downtown Destin area. We are still in the car seat phase, so we rented a car and ventured out to a bunch of places. The guest book, signed by previous guests, was also so helpful since they would mentioned great spots that they hit during their stay. The Destin area was an absolute Florida gem, and we hope to come back soon!

Reserving this condo was very easy. The pictures were spot on with the views as well as the cleanliness of this condo. It was very quiet, we enjoyed watching the boats and jet ski's motoring by as well as enjoying the sun setting in the distance. We loved having the opportunity to walk over the bridge to go to the beach and close by restaurants. They were all delicious. It was super convenient to walk to the restaurants and not need a car. We get pretty picking when spending money on vacation so this was a perfect location for us. We loved to sit on the balcony and watch the boats on the bay side and watch those playing in the lazy river. Your high enough to where you feel like your away from folks. You also have a view of the ocean out the front door and can see the flag each day which is nice before you make that walk across the bridge to the beach. The pictures online are spot on with the decorations of the unit. Really nice place and well decorated. It really felt like home for the week. This is a spot we would definitely visit again.

We are so so happy with our stay here in Destin West Bay Resort! The owners were absolutely amazing! We were first welcomed to the condo with a surprise unexpected personalized gift! Second, they immediately responded to us when we requested a child safety lock for the front door (considering we had two toddlers who could easily open the door). We asked in the afternoon, and by night time, they personally brought us the safety lock. The condo was clean, was very well stocked, and of course the location is great! The walk to the beach was not long and the pools/lazy river were so much fun in the evenings after sundown! We are so happy and may definitely consider coming back sometime in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay! This had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We were in town for a wedding and so glad we extended our stay to just RELAX! Beach a short walk away, relaxing pools and hot tubs. The place was very clean and everyone respected quiet hours. We can not wait to come back. There were a lot of places to eat within walking distance but we really loved I Love Fat Boys, if you’re looking for a really good burger it’s worth the 10 min drive.

Our stay in Sandpiper exceeded all expectations. The condo was sparkling clean upon arrival and stocked with anything you could possibly need. I felt with shared living, noise was never an issue with other vacationers. Wish the pool was heated would be my only thing I would change. Checking in and out was so simple and with any outreach, had responses within an hour. Loved the view of the pool, especially lit up at night, and short walk to the beach. The array of things within walking distance was great, food, cocktails, Gulfarium, mini golf. Groceries within five minute drive. You have a well oiled system down- and thank you for sharing with us! We enjoyed our stay and are very happy with Sandpiper 605. We felt the price was pretty good compared to other places we found. It will accommodate 6 guests, but was perfect for two. Easy access to the beach, pool, lazy river, BBQ grills, and pier. Close to town and within walking distance of multiple attractions and vendors. The condo was clean and welcoming. All amenities listed were available along with some extras, like a beach wagon, which was a relief since we forgot ours at home. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. I will definitely look at this place first for my next trip to Ft. Walton Beach.

We loved our stay at sandpiper 605! The lazy river pool was our favorite , the beaches were pristine. Our first two days were green flag days and the water was smooth with no waves! The walk to the beach was a little difficult with little kids and a wagon of stuff, having to go to the ground level then walk to another building for the elevator to the bridge as it’s not connected . However once on the bridge it was super quick and easy access! A minor inconvenience for the fun times we had. The access to the Bay Area was awesome and our kids really enjoyed that as did my husband :) . We generally go to ft Morgan Al and this condo and resort exceeded our expectations. We saw dolphins daily in the surf while swimming and on the bay side. Many restaurants in walking distance . Our favs were stewbys, ricks on the island pizza( next door). So close to parlour donuts which was a must! The gift that was left for us was also a nice touch and unexpected! Definitely recommend to fam/friends!

Our family had a great experience on our stay here! The kids enjoyed sleeping in the bunk beds and the master suite was spacious. The amount of bath towels / paper towels / toiletries stocked was also good for our whole family for the week we were there, and was also great to get the extra "gift" that was waiting for us upon arrival! Was also great having the multiple pools / hot tub / lazy river on days when the weather wasn't as great, the kids had no complaints about being bored even when the weather was less than ideal!

Sandpiper 605 was clean and tastefully decorated with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. The pool and common areas of the resort were well-maintained and the staff on site were very friendly. The covered parking was a plus! Since my trip was planned last minute to see family, I did have to work some, so fortunately the internet speed was great. The check-in paperwork with the door code included was also very helpful. It was so nice not having to check in or out at an office. I would definitely stay here again with Coastal Vibe Vacations!

David’s place is top notch and will leave you with great memories on the beach or at the pool. Everything was clean and in order. The kitchen is well stocked with any utensils you will need. Perfect location! We had beautiful Bayside views in the center of the property. The beach is a short walk across the bridge and right next to the Boardwalk for shopping and dining. The condo was very clean and well maintained. It was so nice having a full kitchen to make breakfast and snacks. The washer/dryer allowed us to pack lighter! There is a Tom Thumb gas station next door for any last minute needs too. The beach wagon with chairs and an umbrella was great for when we were short on time and just wanted to soak up some sun at the end of the afternoon without renting the vendor set ups. We would stay again!

The condo was exceptionally clean and well stocked with items we needed throughout the week. The view of the pools and the bay were amazing. The beach was a short walk that was really convenient using the footbridge over the road. Our kids enjoyed the pools and hot tubs at night and things to do were either a short walk or drive. The hosts were great in giving us lists of places to go and things to do. Our welcome gift was a nice touch as well. We are already planning our return and we've been back home for less than a week.

This is the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed it! This place has everything! The beach wagon comes with chairs and an umbrella and makes the walk to the ocean so easy! We spent 5 nights taking in everything this area had to offer. The lazy river is one of the best amenities and truly made the trip so fun. We loved the quick elevator ride back to the condo which had everything we needed for our stay. Extremely thankful for the owners that go out of their way to make us feel so welcome. The pictures do not do this place justice! We will definitely rent this unit again as it was perfect for our family! We have two sons, 7 and 9, and it was the perfect space for us. The gift upon arrival was an amazing touch and made us feel even more welcome! It was very clean and well stocked. We had an issue with the shower head in the spare bathroom that was taken care of immediately! They communicated everything we would need to know and we were not left with any questions. They provided enough starter items for the condo as well. The view is perfect and we loved sitting on the balcony drinking our coffee.

Perfect location. Heavier than normal sargassum grass and june grass made some beaches undesirable. The lazy river and bay side beach was the perfect back up plan. Convenient to Destin even though Okaloosa has everything you need. Great restaurants, grocery stores, fresh seafood, entertainment,…. We are return guests and look forward to our next trip

We just spent a relaxing 2 weeks in the Sandpiper 605. It was CLEAN, Comfortable, Recently Updated and Beautifully Decorated. It had Everything we needed and More for our Extended Stay. This is the 2nd time we have Stayed at Destin West but the first in the Sandpiper. We loved having our Meals on the Balcony over looking the Bay and Lazy River. This condo was great for our family of 4. The kids used the bunk room. Everything was updated and new especially compared to other units I saw in the complex on VRBO. Definitely would recommend this unit. Parking close and convenient. So close to Desting but the restaurants at the Boardwalk were closer and we were happier with the service at those. The monogrammed towel was a perfect welcome as well. We loved it. Thanks so much.

We had the absolute best vacation. Our room was clean and was supplied with anything we could possibly need. We enjoyed all of the amenities of the pools, lazy river, etc. as well as being able to just walk across to the boardwalk to eat when we didn't want to get out in traffic. Walking over to the beach was made easy due to the wagon, beach chairs, umbrella. We already booked for the same week next year.

Our small family of two parents and a toddler LOVED our week here. We all loved the pool and went everyday. David's place had a pack & play so we were able to leave ours at home (saving valuable car space!). The beach wagon, chairs, umbrella and sand toys were also a great convenience when we walked across the bridge to the beach side. This condo had everything we needed to cook some meals and reheat leftovers. Great location to walk to some restaurants-we walked to The Boardwalk multiple times for dinner. We definitely recommend staying here and we hope to come back again!

We love Destin West! We have been staying at this condominium since 2014! First time in this unit and I have to say it did not disappoint. The cleanliness of this unit exceeded my expectations and smelled very clean when we walked in. The unit was stocked with everything you could think of! Lysol spray, hand soap, (two must haves in a pandemic), kitchen supplies (even kid cups, plates, and bowels)! The umbrella, chairs, wagon, and kids beach toys were a perfect fit for the stay! We walked in to a special gift from the owners as well! Very special touch! The only issues we ran into was the hot water in the bathroom off the kids bunk room never got hot. Couldn't even turn the knob to hot, it's like it was "child proof" so kids couldn't burn themselves. The shower in the master bathroom did warm up and get hot but didn't stay hot very long. The pressure on the master shower is like a sand blaster so be careful if you're sun burnt! Something I would recommend would be to add a laundry rack to the balcony so you can hang wet suits and towels to dry...and maybe a new mattress in the future. It wasn't terrible, but I've had better. Other than that, perfect unit! Great communication between me, managers, and owner! Great getaway! I'd recommend this condo and this unit specifically.
