What a gem! As soon you walk through the door you see water from the Bayside. This place overlooks the lazy river pool and was so relaxing to just relax on th balcony and enjoy the views.
Then walk up the private stairs to your own penthouse was awesome!
The panoramic views of bother the bay and ocean from the rooftop really makes this place special.
Inside the pla e was very clean and came with all the accessories needed.
As an Airbnb host myself, this place was exact what was written and expected.

It was a wonderful stay for our family! GREAT amenities and would 100000% stay again. Walk to the beach was nothing. I actually preferred being on the bayside because the bay was beautiful and clear. Great for critter hunting and walking around. Saw lots of hermit crabs!

Probably the first time we have ever stayed at a condo and had everything we needed.. It was beautifully decorated and very and quiet. The pool and lazy river was amazing. All the restaurants and shopping are within a short distance . Some restaurants are even walking distance . Which was a plus for us.
The walk to the beach was longer than expected. The bathrooms do need updating and there was a slight musty order.
We will definitely be back❤️

Condo was exactly as described! The view was amazing, and even got to experience fireworks on our last night. We arrived several hours earlier than expected, and despite our condo not being ready at that particular time, the host was kind enough to have someone grab our wrist bands and personally bring it to us so we could still enjoy the pool & private beach in the meantime. We had a minor maintenance question, and within the hour we already had someone at our door to assist. He was incredible! Such a stand-up guy. He gave us many pointers on places to eat dinner for a great price, and places to snorkel and spot plenty of sea life. If you want delicious seafood, I highly recommend Stewby’s. Their service and food is truly top notch! You won’t be disappointed. ☺️
Overall, our trip was pretty close to perfect. We will definitely be back in the future! ☀️

This is a beautiful condo to stay in with friends and family. We enjoyed the rooftop grill, the lazy river, we appreciated the beach wagon, chairs and umbrella to use. We ate at a recommended local seafood restaurant and it was fresh and delicious. We would stay here again as it’s a great location. The only suggestion is the kitchen needs a cutting board and sharp knives.

This unit is nicely placed in Okaloosa to view but the Gulf and the harbor. The sunset looking from the penthouse view where you can watch the sun go down behind the prier! Just breath taking. The lazy river and pool area is very welcoming and fun! The unit was very updated and relaxing if you want to just stay inside or have poor weather. I would highly recommend using this unit if looking for a wonderful getaway for yourself or for the family.

We just checked out this morning, and we were all so sad to leave. The condo is gorgeous, and the resort was perfect for us! Furniture and decor is gorgeous. Beds we're all comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook meals at the condo. We used the grill once, which was great, though it seemed to cook very slowly.
We spent a lot of time in the heated pool and the lazy river bayside. It was a bit chilly in the lazy river, but when the outside temps warmed up, it was so nice! We ate at the boardwalk (Al's and Floyd's), Rick's next door (Singer Meg was amazing Friday night), Fubar Pizza, and Stewby's twice (SO good!).
We would definitely stay in this unit.or another on the bayside again!

We really enjoyed our time in Ft. Walton/Destin, FL. The condo was beautiful and very clean when we checked in. It had all the amenities and lots of room for us. Our kids loved the pool and hot tubs. The convenience of being close to the beach, restaurants and grocery store was great too. We would definitely consider this condo again for any future trip to this area.

Place was absolutely perfect!! Very clean and in great shape (no broken tiles, torn fabrics etc). Convenient walk across street to Boardwalk restaurants and short drive to Destin. Grocery stores within 5 minutes with plenty to do if the beach is not your thing!! Would recommend anytime!!

This is a beautiful condo overlooking the bay, and right above the lazy river! We had a great time chilling in the pool and relaxing on the beach! Super close to Destin as well and any restaurants or boat tours you might want to try! We did the Hannah Marie dolphin cruise, and saw quiet a few dolphins doing tricks! Very fun, relaxing stay!

This location on the bay side of the resort was amazing and provided beautiful views of the pool and bay and our rooftop deck also made it possible to view the ocean and sunsets. It was a short walk to the boardwalk restaurants and shopping and a short drive into Destin.

Destin West Pelican Penthouse was awesome!! We loved our stay. I wasn’t sure the penthouse was worth it until we saw those amazing sunrises. They’re worth getting up early for. The Destin West facilities were excellent and we spent lots of time in the pools and at the beach. The condo was clean and spacious, and we look forward to staying again.

Beautiful apartment, bunkroom smaller than pictured but it served its purpose. Checkout is prompt, the cleaning lady showed up 20 minutes early so make sure you comply with the rules. Great communication from owner, great location (not south of 98 per the map) very easy to get to and from both Destin and Fort Walton Beach. Wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Check-in and check-out was super easy as they gave us a code to let ourselves in! The property is amazing with 2 hot tubs, a lazy river, and a main pool! The condo was spacious and cozy perfect for our girls trip/birthday weekend! P.S. the rooftop is amazing for a glass of wine at sunset and also has the best picture lighting at sunset!! 😉

Very nice unit with great amenities, the amazing aqua park setting to the easy access of both the bay and beach. There is terrific space with a very nice master bedroom/bathroom. Vacationers of all ages will love the location and setting, we were 6 to 54. Super convenient to both Fort Walton Beach, 5 minutes, and Destin, 10-15 minutes. David communicated very well leading up to and through our stay. Will definitely stay here again.

This place was awesome. The pool is amazing, the location is great, and the condo is stunning with a beautiful view. The rooms were plenty spacious. The dishwasher and washing machine made clean up/traveling so much better. We were able to do a load of a laundry before we headed home, so we didn’t have that headache to deal with when we returned. We were able to walk to the beach each day, as well as check out the restaurants across the way (Al’s, Floyd’s, Crab Trap, & Rockin Tacos). We ate at all 4 and they were all great and right on the beach. There’s a guest book that has suggestions on where to eat from other visitors, as well as a beach cart full of toys for the kids. It even came with a pack n play, which was an amazing amenity for us with our baby. Everything you could want to see or do is a 5 minute drive away, or a 5 minute walk across the highway. There’s an arcade, adventure park, putt putt course next door, too. So much fun stuff.

Breathtaking views of both riverside sunrises and oceanside sunsets from the private penthouse rooftop belcony. Floor to ceiling windows within the astheticly pleasing three bedroom apartment with a bed and television in each room. The complex has beach side access via a pedestrian bridge and Rick's next door was a fun laid back place to eat, drink and watch football. We can't wait to visit again.

We had a great experience staying in this place. It is beautifully furnished and roomy. The kitchen is well stocked and some soap for the dishwasher and washing machine were provided, which was great! The views from location are just as described, gorgeous. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace and were able to use the grill for dinner one evening. David is a great host and provided all the information to allow the trip to run smoothly. I highly recommend and will be staying again in the future.

We are Floridans, we decided to take advantage of a StayCation. We booked a week prior to our stay and we couldn’t be happier. The beach area was nice and was a quick drive to Seaside and Seagrove. Only negative was cleanliness of the lazy river just appear hazy. However that may be due to the beach goers jumping in..But that was a minor inconvenience as we were there for the beaches. We loved our stay at pelican PH-03. The location was perfectly situated between the ocean and the bay. The traffic is not nearly as congested as downtown Destin. We enjoyed the fireworks from the top balcony. The lazy river was a huge bonus for our little ones as well as the variety of pools in the complex. The only drawback was the small amount of beach space the resort offers. There was just a small stretch of beach for us to share with another resort and that little amount was packed with people. Overall we had a wonderful time and would stay again. The owner was very responsive to any questions that we had.

We truly enjoyed everything about our weeklong stay in Pelican PH-03. Miss it still! The master bedroom has a beautiful view of the bay, blackout curtains for great sleep, and most comfortable king mattress. Very large master bath with huge fluffy towels and a super strong shower my husband loved. Fully stocked kitchen with anything you need, including a Ninja blender which made great Icees for the kids, margs for the adults. The pool areas were wonderful - very clean, very family friendly. We floated in the lazy river daily. Walk across to the beach was simple, the condo had lots of toys for the kids, boogie boards, floats, etc. We didnt use the grill but there was one on the upper deck where you could see everything. Close to restaurants and go carts, arcade next door. Just across bridge from Destin. Grocery store just minutes away. The bunk room for the kids has a trundle so all three kids had their own space to sleep. Large guest bedroom and attached bathroom worked great for two families. We highly recommend this property! Can't wait to go back!

We absolutely loved this condo, the view was amazing from the balcony and even better with a 360 degree view from the roof top. We could see the fireworks display in both Destin and fort Walton from up there. The condo has very comfortable furniture and beds we slept great. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need. The experience with coastal vibe vacations is simple and if you need anything they are a phone call away. This is our second year booking with them and we are now planning our third trip.

We absolutely loved this condo, very clean and stocked well with anything you could possibly need on your beach vacation! We did have a beach cart that was a bit older and didn’t move across the sand very well with the rusted tires. But with a simple phone call we had a brand new cart within hours! We had a group of all ages and everyone was extremely happy! The lazy river and pool were a huge hit for all and the teenagers took over the rooftop as their hang out!

You cannot go wrong with renting this space. The location and views are phenomenal. The place was sparking clean and it had everything you would need to stay for several days. Plenty of kitchen utensils, full size kitchen and did I mention the views? The rooftop really set this place apart from anywhere we have ever stayed. It gave you privacy, extra sunshine, and 360 degree view of the ocean! David was quick with emails and even called us when I had a question. There was plenty of toilet paper, towels, paper towels and dish soap. Everything was there to get your week started. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The grocery store is a mile away! EASY! The walk to the beach was quick. There are places to rent a chair at the beach if that's your jam. The pool, hot tub, and lazy river were clean and a nice break from the rooftop. There are three bedrooms and each room has a view of the ocean. There is nothing to complain about when you rent this space. We are back in cold Michigan and already looking for our next adult get away---we will be booking this again!

This penthouse was everything I was looking for and more! First off, Kudos to the cleaning staff. I was told 3-4 hours beforehand that our room would be ready way before check-in. Upon arrival we found the condo and the property looking brand new and never lived in! During the trip I also contacted the owner to help find an additional condo for family to stay for the weekend, he was VERY helpful! Lets just say I would not hesitate to book this condo again!

Fantastic condo! Nicely decorated. Master bedroom king bed was so comfortable! The rooftop area is a wonderful place to grill and lounge in the sun! Your own private oasis! Great location with the best of 2 worlds! Located on the bayside with a super pool area and lazy river! A short walk over the bridge and you are on the gulf side enjoying the gulf! Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby! You can’t go wrong staying here, the owner David Jenn is the best! Super friendly and quick to follow up on any issues you may have! This was our 2nd year staying in one of his units! We loved this one so much we have rented it for next January, February and part of March 2019! You will love this condo and the Destin West Resort!

We had a great stay at David's Destin West Pelican PH03. First of all, the welcome packet David has put together is one of the best I have seen - lots of good recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The condo itself is great with faux wood (tile) flooring which was exceptionally clean. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. This was our first stay at Destin West and it was a great experience. The pools on the bayside were very clean and had several areas of shade (seems like a rarity to have shaded areas on the gulf coast). The lazy river was enjoyable too. It's a bit of a walk across to the beachside, but not too long (we had our two little ones make the walk with no problem). The splash pad and the Ramada pool next door were great benefits on the beachside. Overall a great stay.

What a great vacation - we rented two units from David Jenn , this one and Heron PH 9 Penthouse. Both Condos were just perfect for our family of 13 - they were furnished perfectly and we had everything we needed to enjoy a week from home. David was wonderful about responding back with any questions we had which made our vacation even more enjoyable. Such as what was the code to walk out on the dock - and an issue with the passcode for the internet - which again David helped us get all set up. We ate in and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. This unit has a great BBQ grill and how we enjoyed the lazy river - hot tubs and pool. David even made sure we had the perfect weather while we were there. I must say, PH9 also had a hot tub which we used in the evenings while we BBQ'd and enjoyed the view. David also lead us to Adventure Marina where we stored our two wave runners we brought with us - Which worked out perfectly - 7 days and approx. $85 and we had 24 hour use and could put in and out which was all included. Perfect place to store a boat if your bringing that also and only about a mile away. We also rented a Pontoon there as well for 5 hours - $200 which included the gas and spent time on Crab Island which was fun for all. The kids enjoyed the lazy river as well as the adults - only wishing we could have had a drink with us while floating but no drinks allowed - They do need to lift that restriction a little. The beach cart was really awesome and walking across to the ocean was a breeze - having chairs and umbrella and built in cooler - made the trip across the walkway so easy. The walkway across the highway is a great plus. I love the gulf side because of the lazy river - pools - Picture Perfect Then we chartered a fishing boat for 8 of the adults - for 5 hours "Just B-Cause" was the name and Capt Ken was amazing. Would recommend him and his first mate Vinney with a 5***** rating. Goggle "Just B-Cause" Left around 6:30 am went out about 18 miles - took 1 1/2 hours to get out there - fished for 2 1/2 hours - and came back with 110 keepers --- and we threw back that many - as fast as you could put the pole back in you had another catch. Of course it helps when all the females caught the biggest fish of the day.. :-) They did all the cleaning and we hauled back to the condo 110 fish - we ate fish the next two nights --- and brought the rest home. 5 ****** rating...

We stayed in this beautiful condo April 2nd - April 9th for our son's baseball tournament and couldn't have been more pleased with the unit. The owner answered all of my questions before we arrived and even stayed in touch while were were there. I did have to send him a text message and he responded within minutes! We spend most of our free time at the pool because the ocean was a little cold, but everyone had a great time! Plenty of great restaurants close by - some great ones in walking distance. Be sure to take the short drive to Destin and walk the boardwalk, it was awesome. We also took a dolphin cruise, it was a perfect day! I will definitely say that the owner goes out of his way to answer questions quickly. Some of our friends were staying in the same building, we were not impressed with their rooms. However, they came to ours and they fell in love! Master bed is very comfortable, I slept very well! Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

I can't rave enough about this penthouse. We spent a week in Destin for our daughter's high school softball tournament and this place was perfect. The location is incredible and the owner was out of this world. We chose the bayside location due to the proximity to the pool and lazy river. We had a spectacular view of the bay and the pool. Sitting on the balcony and/or roof we could see the beautiful water and even see our kids hanging poolside. We ventured to the beach a couple of times to play some team volleyball and the walk was great and the beach was very nice. The inside of the unit was very nicely decorated and offered plenty of room for our party of seven. Several evenings we gathered in the living room / dining area to hang out or to catch a late night snack. I was amazed at how sound proof the unit was. Even during the peak pool times during the day, you couldn't hear a sound when the sliding doors were closed. I can't express how nice the inside of the unit was and the rooftop access was a hit! The kids loved being able to see both the bay and ocean from the roof and it made for some great pictures. We ate out almost every night and we didn't have to drive more than a few minutes to get to our favorite restaurants. There is so much to do within a few minute drive of Destin West that we found ourselves on the go the entire time. In the past I have been concerned about elevator usage and long lines/waits and that was NOT an issue with this building. We didn't wait more than a minute or two for the elevator and that is during busy spring break. There is ample parking which made it a breeze to find a parking spot every night after dinner. The owner of this unit was WAY OUT OF HIS WAY to make our experience the best it could be. We exchanged several emails prior to our trip and even exchanged a couple during the visit. He provided us with some great information about restaurants and some hidden gems in Destin/Ft. Walton Beach. I really appreciate his desire to ensure our visit was memorable. I would recommend this property to anyone going to Destin. First class facility and five star service.

My whole family including my 8 month old son had a blast, room was amazing with a roof top bay view, plenty of room and everything was very nice and clean upon arrival, some many things to do in the area your just a short drive from everything, I would recommend this to anyone looking for get away and I will be back next year!

Condo is nicely equipped with plenty of room for 2 adults and 4 teens/preteens. Very convenient location with amazing views. We loved using "The Big Green Egg Smoker" to grill out several evenings. Owner/Manager very helpful and prompt in answering all questions. We highly recommend this unit, and would not hesitate to book again!

Owner David very helpful before, during, and after stay. Great condo, unit has a stunning view of bay. Had some very minor house keeping issues that were promptly addressed. I would highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it. My family plans to come again soon!
