We had a great time and there was something for everyone on the property. My niece and daughters had the best time with the sand castle toys that came in the condo and the wagons were super handy as well. Great experience

We had a lovely time at Destin West. The resort is great for families. This condo was clean and had plenty of room for our family of four. I thought it was bigger than it looked in the photos. And the view was just as good if not better. The beach chairs and wagon were a nice touch. It had everything we needed.

We stayed the week of Christmas. The pool was heated and had hot tubs as well. Overall a great time. The room was good. Plenty of wagons and extras if you forget sand toys/necessities for the beach.

We had a great time, very comfortable condo great location you get off the elevator and there is the condo in front of you, which was ideal for 5 senior women, the only thing that would make it better would be a new mattress for the bottom bunk bed.

The condo was beautiful and felt like home. It has gorgeous views of the ocean from the balcony, the resort pools were clean and the kids had a blast. The beach was a short walk and everything we could need was supplied in an easy to pull wagon. There are also restaurants, shops and arcades within walking distance. I would highly recommend this location.

We enjoyed our stay at Coastal vibes. There was plenty of room, the place was clean and cozy. We loved all the Recommendations the host gave with a list of places to go nearby. Check in/checkout was a smooth process with just needing a key code and it was nice there was free parking! We would recommend to stay here!

We absolutely loved staying here, it is conveniently located across the highway from the beach and over looking the bay! The pool and lazy river were amazing! They also left us a list of recommendations in the surrounding area!
The place was clean inside, & right off the elevators so it was easy to get to! And the hosts were fast at responding to any messages!
The only down side was the bunk bed was extremely uncomfortable, I ended sleeping on the little couch. If you come I would bring something to cushion it or bring an air mattress! It does have a pull out couch as well, but it is slightly uncomfortable as well.
Also bring extra toilet paper if you can, there was two rolls in the entire place.
I still would recommend this place!

Our family of five had an amazing week at this condo. Check in and check out were very simple. There was lots to do and the location was centrally located.
Pool areas were great. A couple, including the lazy river, were not heated, but that was in the property description so we were prepared for that.
Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. I was impressed with the variety of pots and pans.
We would love to come back and stay again.

This property is a gem! Kitchen had everything you need to eat “in” while there are plenty of eat “out” places within walking distance. The beach is also within walking distance and the host provided wagon was very helpful. There was also an umbrella and three chairs. (Make sure to bring your own beach towels) We spent quite a bit of time at the pool and lazy river which you will have a beautiful view of from this condo. Water temp was great and the area was kept very clean. The beds were adequate, I’m pretty picky on pillows but managed to find one that I liked. Plenty of towels. Having the washer and dryer was great as we could dry our beach towels each day if we wanted to. The bunk bed mattresses may need replacing soon as the springs could be felt. The place stays nice and cool, also there is a box fan that came in handy in the bunk room. The water pressure is also really good. Really happy we found pelican 505 and would definitely stay there again!

My family stayed here for Thanksgiving. The kitchen, and supplied cookware/utensils, made preparing our feast easy.
Perfectly cleaned, well furnished, and the owner had great communication.
Did I mention the view?!? WOW!!!

This is an amazing property that we would definitely stay at again. The views of the bay from the balcony are incredible and it is an easy walk over to the beach. We made the walk with 3 kids and a cart full of beach gear and had no issues. Local restaurants are great and you can walk to several.

The condo was well equipped. And we had a great stay. We cook a fair amount, so it was nice to have a kitchen that is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. we appreciated having several ice trays to keep the ice going while we were here. Having the beach wagon with toys, chairs, and umbrella was a very nice touch that we felt went above and beyond what a lot of the condos offer. We also appreciated having the pack-n-play here. It is one less thing we had to try to fit into our already overstuffed van.
You have a nice place, and we will definitely consider staying with you again whenever we find our way back down to the area. Usually we stay a little further west, but having the pools and lazy river available as well as the beach really made this a great vacation with our little kids. Access to the condo and all of the amenities is wonderful, especially having the skybridge to get back and forth to the beach.

Coastal Vibes is a whole vibe! David and his team are wonderful hosts.
Check in/out was a breeze.
Our favorite part of the condo was the view! You get a direct view of the lazy River/Pool, the Marina and the lush palm trees. The condo is exactly as described and depicted.
The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, etc . We really appreciated the starter items that was provided.
Our family (2 adults and 2 kids under 10) had enough space to spread out and relax. Between the pool, beach, and Marina our kids were never bored.
Overall, we would book again and would recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful Spring Break week at Pelican 505! The unit was inviting and had everything you could imagine. The beach chairs and beach wagon was helpful. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes from the time you leave the unit and grab and ride the required elevators (or do the stairs). The children we had along were 16, 15, 14 and 11 so it wasn't bad. However, families with younger children might want to take this into consideration. The Resort was clean, beautiful and we didn't want to leave! Resort Bands we're constantly being asked for, which we were fine with as that just provided an additional level of security during a busy season. We would definitely return to not just this Resort but to Pelican 505.

This is the perfect size condo for a family. The amenities to the complex are nice, we liked the pool area. There is plenty of room to space out around the pool without feeling on top of anyone. The location is great, it is near plenty of dining and entertaining. We were happy with all the beach toys although I'd say its time to weed out some of the broken worn toys. We did have a few negatives. We were prepared for the walk to the beach, a few others had warned it is a decent walk, which we didn't mind. You get to the beach by a bridge above the highway. However the elevator was down for about 3 days meaning we had to carry the stroller and beach buggy up 3 flights of stairs. The beach cart was also falling apart and you could tell someone tried fixing it with a plastic bag. There was a used napkin in the bunk room and beer bottles/trash in the beach toys as well. I also never received the parking pass however they did tell me where the extras were so nbd just maybe make sure you ask about it. The complaints were minor other than the elevator that was the only real inconvenience.

We throughly enjoyed our week at Destin West. The condo was a perfect home away from home. We found the kitchen adequately stocked for making meals throughout the week. We appreciated looking out of our room over the pool area to assess the crowds before heading down. My children loved the proximity to the pools. As parents, we appreciated the three heated pools. The walk to the beach was easy thanks to the bridge over the highway. We enjoyed strolls on the beach several times a day and even picked up some meals from the boardwalk because it was close enough to walk to. We had a great week and look forward to returning again soon.

The view from the condo is amazing. It isn't a beach view but pretty close to it. Weather was too cold for us to enjoy the lazy river but the inner pool was heated and also the hot tub. The kids really enjoyed that. The condo had everything we needed. It was nice and comfortable vibe. Would definitely book again.

We came in the off season and enjoyed our stay very much! The condo was what we had hoped for and the management was so great to work with which is a plus! This apartment is in a perfect location if you really want a quieter spot to call home, while still being very close to plenty of restaurants and activities. It was spotless, and the starter supplies provided were great, lasted two of us the whole week. The bath towels were super fluffy. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary appliances, dishes, silverware, though we ate out most nights! David provided a list of restaurant and activity suggestions, very useful. Key combo to enter and leave the unit was great, no worries about losing keys.
The view from the balcony was amazing, overlooking the pools, hot spas and bay. The walkway over the highway to the beach made it simple to get to the beach, which was gorgeous. The location of Destin West is right at one end of the sand dunes, perfect for walking along a scenic seashore.
Since we were there at the end of the winter season, beginning of March, having a warm pool, in addition to the 2 hot spas, was the icing on the cake. Even on cooler days, we were able to enjoy the pool and spa, and soak up some sunshine.
If you want to get a truly local vibe and great food and drinks, go through the opening in the fence next to Osprey to Dock on Island (it's behind the arcade). We had barbecued chicken nachos for dinner, as the plate was huge. We missed the Saturday night prime rib for two special ($29.99), but everyone else we met at the pool who had been there all winter raved about it.
I highly recommend this place. I can see that it would be great for families, too.

We stayed for a week in this lovely condo. Views were great, loved the lazy river and stayed in it for hours. Owner provided beach toys and floats, etc, which was nice. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, baking and serving dishes. We cant wait to go back!!

The condo and all the amenities were great. It was a short walk to the beach on the bridge. The owner provided a cart for all the beach stuff which made transporting all our stuff to the beach super easy. You will need to bring your own cooler. I thought one would be provided with the beach stuff, but it wasn't so I had to buy one. There's a place literally next door that rents Pontoon boats, so we did that one day and just walked over to the rental place. Microwave broke while we were there, we called maintenance and it was replaced the next morning. We had a great time and would come again. The view from the condo was great. My kids are 11, 14 and 20. They were very comfortable and loved the condo. The lazy river around the pool is a great amenity to use after a day at the beach or shopping. Grocery store is maybe a mile away, you'll need to drive, but has everything you need. There's multiple restaurants, souvenir shopping and activities within walking distance as well. Two Thumbs Up!

Perfect location, easy to access, super clean, water pressure is on point! You can watch the sunrise and sunset everyday. Explore the many activities in the surrounding area. Indulge in amazing food across the street. One of the few locations you could have a blast without ever having to drive in your car. Everyone should book this place.

David was great to work with. When we arrived, we had one small issue with a broken umbrella and a new one was delivered to our condo within 15 minutes - OUTSTANDING service! Highly recommend!

Very nice unit with great views of pool and bay. Beach service and access to The Island pools and bars/grill were a plus. Easy access to boardwalk, pier with many great restaurants in Destin close by. Very easy booking process and they were very helpful throughout.

What a great Honeymoon - we rented a unit from David Jenn , this one and it was furnished perfectly and we had everything we needed to enjoy a week from home. David was wonderful about responding back with any questions we had which made our vacation even more enjoyable. We went out to eat probably half the week and the rest was nights in. The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans etc. We enjoyed the lazy river. Adventure Marina is where we stored our two wave runners we brought with us - Which worked out great 7 days andthe price was great and we had 24 hour use and could put in and out at anytime Perfect place to store a boat and its only about a mile away. We went to Crab Island which was fun like always. The kids enjoyed the lazy river as well as the adults - The beach cart was really awesome and having chairs and umbrella and built in cooler - made the trip across the walkway alot better. all in all it was Picture Perfect We did charter fishing boat - for 5 hours which was amazing. They did all the cleaning and had a fish for dinner that night and brought the rest home. You won't be sorry with this unit ... Thanks David This is the second time staying at Destin west and i recommend this place and also the heron PH-09 with the roof top and hot tub. We are getting ready to book again for this summer

The unit is nicely decorated. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Beds are comfortable. Lazy river and pools are well kept and clean. It was so nice having the beach cart, beach chairs and other beach toys to use. A couple of things need to be fixed - sliding glass door in master is extremely hard to open; master tv would not work with remote; tv in bunkbed room was totally missing the remote.

We had a great week at Pelican 505 and the unit was serene; exactly as advertised. The Destin West Resort has excellent amenities and is in a great location. Our grandchildren loved the multiple pools, lazy river, access to the beach, and the beach toys provided. We usually like to stay at condos with ocean front views but we loved the bay view from our balcony and it was easy to get to the beach across the sky bridge. Everything went very smoothly during our week.
