This was our second time staying at Destin West and our first in this particular unit. The location was perfect both for pools and the beach and getting out and about around the area. Beds were comfortable, the unit was clean, and we had everything we needed. The wagon and chairs were super helpful. Parking was easy and close. Despite the resort being full, noise was never an issue from the pool/lazy river. The one time we had trouble finding something in the unit, we immediately received a response even after hours! This is truly our favorite place to go, and we’re already planning our next stay. Thanks so much for the perfect vacation home!

The condo was very clean! It was supplied with all you needed. The bed was very comfortable and we were never bothered with noise. the pool area was large and we were always able to find chairs. We are planning on coming next year! Very enjoyable place.

Coastal Vibes provided great accommodations in our unit. We had everything we needed. They even stopped by with new hangers, glass serving bowls & new scissors. Great view of sunsets from the Master suite balcony. Easy access to our unit. I enjoyed the complimentary soaps and paper towels. Plenty of bath towels too! We didn't have to run out right away. We were able to rest after the long drive. The heated pool and hot tub s are well kept. I walked across the bridge every day to hit beach! We already booked for another stay. Can't wait

Very clean, very easy to access. When we first arrived, I had no idea there were 2 balconies and we couldn't find the beach stuff. So I called to ask about our wagon, the office was super helpful and let me know about the 2nd balcony ;) We also had an issue with our kitchen faucet, it randomly started shooting water out of the base, they were super quick and efficient to look at it and replaced it. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and our amenities.

Great room and facility. There were plenty of dishes, bedding and paper products for the 2 of us. We really like the lazy river. The grassy area surrounding the lazy river is well taken care of also. The beach access is also nice, although we did not visit the beach this time.

This was our third stay at Destin West Beach & Bay resort. Once again, loved our stay. First stay at this condo and it was very clean & comfortable. Enjoyed the view of the lazy river & the bay. The entire resort is well maintained. Parking is always easy. Booking thru Coastal Vibes Vacations is very easy and you have no worries about them taking care of you.

From booking the room to making each payment, everything was very easy to do. Really appreciated the insider coastal guide. The resort was very nicely laid out and we all loved the lazy river and the different pool options. The only faults we had had more to do with the area and not the resort itself. The four lane traffic was very busy at times, hard to pull out. I wish there was more traffic lights. Also, our side of the road didn't have a sidewalk. We loved having the keyless entry and having the condo fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Location was great. View from end condo was spectacular overlooking lazy river & bay. Close to many restaurants & activities. Bridge over Highway to the gulf beach was easy & safe. Such a great place! Great view, great pool! The Marina was amazing. We went out on the boat dock and by the water and we saw a stingray, jellyfish, a few crabs, conches, it was so perfect! Incredibly accommodating, everything you could wish for was in the condo. Will 100% be booking here again. had one of the most marvelous vacations I could’ve ever envisioned, nothing went wrong it was the best. The cleanliness and location of the property was perfect only a two minute walk to the beach through the sky bridge and the most amazing lazy river two hot tubs and huge pools you can imagine. we walked to every restaurant and every activity we wanted to do because the location was centered at the best part of Destin. I can’t wait to revisit for years to come.

Do not pass this up! It was our first visit to the emerald coast and it did not disappoint! The condo was quiet and comfortable and had the best views of the bay. We loved walking the pedestrian bridge over to the beach side and spending the day at the pool and the private beach. It was the prefect spot for our family of three!

This condo was very lovely. It had a beach vibe and a great view. My family and I enjoyed Okaloosa Island and the Emerald Coast Volleyball tournament. After being on the beach for 8 hours, it was nice to relax in the condo for a few hours. It had everything we needed. We will be back in October..

From the perfect communications ahead of time, to the email day before returning home,and everything in between, Coastal Vibe Vacations always impresses. Our only complaint was the sofa was shedding leather material onto the floor making the living room seating not enjoyable. However, we let management know and they are working on replacing the sofas. 😊

We loved the place, it was very clean and had a nice/updated look and feel to it. Like most, we were attracted to this place because of the beautiful and large lazy river. I've been to a couple other condos and along the gulf, this one is by far the nicest of them all. We walked across the convenient bridge to the beach in the late afternoon, but spent 95% of our time in the river. My wife was sad to leave. I wouldn't be surprised if she wants to return to this same spot next year.

My family of 5 stayed at this property for 4 nights and had wonderful time. The home was clean and neat and well taken care of. The owner was easy to talk to and answered any questions we had. Our kids loved all the pools, lazy river, and the amenities accross the walkway near the ocean. Lots of restaurants nearby and plenty to do! We loved our vacation here and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in Pelican 401 at Destin West Bay and Resort. The condo was very well equipped with plenty of dishes and cookware. The condo was well decorated and very clean. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We took advantage of the Lazy River and pool as well as visiting the beach and using the beach buggy to haul all of our stuff over there. The umbrella was very useful with the hot Florida sun. The location was pretty centrally located and we were able to get to most place pretty quickly despite the heavy traffic. We would rent this unit again.

We had the pleasure of staying in Pelican 401 at the Destin West Bay and Beach Club located on Okaloosa Island. In the past we have only stayed on the Gulf side for our vacations, but staying on the Bay did not disappoint! The view from the family room balcony is beautiful. This unit was beautifully remodeled. We spent the majority of our time at the pool/ lazy river/ hot tub. The pool area is maintained wonderfully! Everyday there were grounds crews outside keeping up the property and it shows! The pools are very clean. We used the skywalk to walk to the gulf side a few times and that (in addition to the great beach cart the owner provides) was very convenient especially since we were walking with young children across a busy highway! We had wonderful weather overall and enjoyed the close proximity to Destin where we enjoyed the Harborwalk Village for shopping, dining and parasailing and dolphin/ sunset cruise! We have read other reviews of Destin West and while some visitors indicated that their condo was poorly kept up, this is not the case at all with this listing. Everything was brand new and clean! The kitchen was well stocked, we had plenty of plush towels and the washer and dryer were a bonus! Owner David Jenn called me and we spoke at length about his various properties so that we could select the best fit for our family. Pride in ownership definitely shows in Pelican 401!!
