We had a wonderful time during our stay. Condo was great with everything you could need. Stayed a full week and enjoyed every bit. Staff was wonderful and we felt very safe in our environment. Only complaint but was no hindrance was that we thought the lazy river heated and it was not.

The condo was amazing. The weather was great for December. The Only problem was 3 of the days we were there they were doing roof repair next door. We weren’t able to use the roof on the beautiful days and we had to leave because the noise was not very relaxing. In fact drilling and use of a saw went on repeatedly. I’m not sure we will ever get to take another vacation. It was our first out of state so thank you for the good nights sleep and again the condo was amazing when we were able to use it

We LOVED this condo. Having the lazy river at our back door was perfect with kids. But it wasn’t too noisy either. The landscaping made the best view. Customer service was wonderful. Friendly and responsive. The walk to the beach is super easy with the skywalk.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This vacation was amazing. Destin West Beach and Bay Resort feels like you are in the Caribbean at a resort. The Bay was great, we snorkeled,fished off the pier and made wonderful memories with our family. The condo was beautiful,updated, comfy and clean and the lazy river and pools were phenomenal. We couldn't have been happier with David's condo. It was absolutely wonderful and everything was provided for even a pack n play which fit nicely in the master closet. Walking to the beach was so easy even with three little ones. And then having the lazy river pool and hot tubs just steps from the condo was fantastic. I would say you might want to bring socks or slippers to wear around the condo cause the tile does make it cold on the feet especially in the winter. 10/10 would recommend David's condo.

We took our grandkids (2&5) to the beach and lazy river for a very memorable trip. The smiles and laughter that occurred daily was heartwarming. The facility has more than enough to keep the young and old very happy. The beach is famous for a reason and the pools and lazy river were big hits. The condo was very well supplied to allow cooking the fresh seafood. Heron L06 has a gas grill too. The beds were very comfortable as well as the furniture. It was very clean. We had no issues so I can't tell you about the response. Booking, paying and checking in was simple and straightforward. The facility and Heron L06 is highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Destin West Beach and Bayside Resort for three years in a row now. This was our first time staying in this room. We have always stayed in a Lanai unit, which in our opinion is the best option. We have stayed in Sandpiper, and Pelican Lanai’s previously, but they didn’t have their own private hot tub. This was great for coming back from the pool and getting in after the pools closed, and also for my kids to get in and splash around without fearing they would splash someone else in the public one. The room was actually much larger than we had anticipated, previously staying in other Lanai’s, it was almost double the size (we felt). The room with the bunk beds had what appeared to be memory foam mattresses, which were VERY comfortable. We love staying on the bayside, as it has easy access to the lazy river and pools, and then is a short walk over to the beach on a covered bridge over the highway. One secret we did find this year, that we didn’t know about other years, was that the pool back by the Heron building is heated! None of the other pools, to our knowledge, were. We actually found this out on the last day of our stay and hung out there all day! We have multiple friends who come to this resort for their family vacations and we all say the same thing, you just can’t beat the Destin West Beach and Bayside Reoart, and we will definitely be back to this room!

We had originally booked this unit back in May - with Covid we were unable to keep that date. But David Jenn (Coastal Vibe Vacations) extended our booking - which he did not have to do as we didn't purchase trip insurance and we were only a couple weeks out. My big thanks for that. The end of September we were getting quiet stir crazy and our Son and family said "lets just do it". So we drove there on Oct 24th and enjoyed an absolute wonderful week. There were six of us which included two of our grandchildren ages 4 and 1 1/2 - Heron L-06 was just perfect for us. Our granddaughter (4) was so overtaken by the bunk beds - She loved to sleep on top - The lazy river and pools were just awesome and so convenient with the bottom floor. We had stayed in the past twice in L-09 which is also another amazing unit with rooftop view. But with children I would recommend L06 - as you could walk right to the lazy river. I know we will be back again. My Daughter-in-law was ready to book right now... The weather was great and we had ocean time- pool time - went to the sand dunes and took family pictures - went to Fudpuckers to see the alligators This was the day Zeta was giving us some wind and the following day we had 2 red flags on the gulf side- so we had a pool/lazy river day - rented a pontoon boat (right next door) and of course found some dolphins. Spent some time on the pier and fed a few million birds - funny we saw one and gave him a cracker and it was like the invasion - Had so much fun. We asked our Granddaughter what her favorite thing was -- her reply was everything so then we asked her what her least would be -- "eating" I think she nailed our vacation review. Lets not forget the hot tub - which was great also. We were worried about Halloween and the kids missing trick or treating this year - but the Boardwalk across the bridge took care of that - it was set up amazing and the kids got to walk around like a parade and got so much candy and so many characters dressed up -they even had a pirate ship in the parking lot - then at 8 pm we walked over Alligator Bridge ( which our granddaughter(The Elevator Girl) named - which is the bridge to the gulf side to watch Fireworks. What a great fun Halloween celebration. So if I could give you more than 5 stars I would. The condo had everything you would need.

You get what you see and more! The property management is very responsive. Five star experience overall. There weren’t enough blankets for all of us (two parents and six children) but it worked out alright. Love the hot tub too!

We Loved this place! The keurig machine went out the first day and they came by quickly after I emailed them with a new one! The place was so nice we will definitely be renting from them again. This place also has the best beach we have ever been to! Excited to also try their cabins in Gatlinburg!

This condo is truly a gem! It was perfect for our family of 6. It was so convenient being on the lower level and having stairs that went straight to our patio. (No lugging wet kids and gear up the elevator.) We enjoyed being on the bay side of the property because our kids spent a lot of time at the pools and lazy river. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The private hot tub on the patio was a bonus! We all spent lots of time relaxing in it! The check-in/check-out process was extremely easy. We enjoyed this condo so much that we plan to visit again in the near future!

We enjoyed our stay in another condo owned by David Jenn. The condo was spacious and in a great location. It would be helpful to add a few things to the kitchen like a pizza pan, cookie sheet and replace some skillets. Also the bathroom rugs look like they could be replaced soon. These are minor things I’m sure. Destin West is a great place to stay.

We loved our stay and only wished we could stay longer! The accommodations were just as listed. It was so nice to be just a few steps away from the pool and lazy river and have our own personal grill for dinner. The beach bar and boat rentals next door was an added bonus! Owners were quick to respond when we had any questions and were very accommodating. Lots of pool/beach toys at the unit saved us a few bucks too. We would definitely recommend this place to future Destin travelers.

This was amazing! From the private hot tub, multiple heated pools and short walk to the golf this was perfect. The condo was perfect for two families with two king beds and a large bunk room for the kids.

The Condo: The condo is roomier than I anticipated. It was also clean and well maintained. The private hot tub on the condo's deck was very nice. We also appreciated that the condo had a washer and dryer. The Property: I'm not sure we explored all of the amenities. We were in the Heron building, so just outside our back deck there were 2 pools, at least one of which was heated, and a lazy river. Our stay was in January. The vibe was quiet, polite and relaxed. Property Management: Our property manager was not the office onsite. Experiences may be different depending on which company/person you are dealing with. For us, this was hands down the easiest, most hassle-free check in and check out we have ever experienced. The check in/check out emails came a few days before each date. We got a code for the door, a parking pass to print out and fill out, and that was it. Awesome! We had enough contact with the property manager by email that I felt like if we had a problem (e.g., something broke) we could get help, but we had no issues. Location and Area: This resort is located on a strip of land that connects Destin with Ft. Walton. It has one road and it is fairly busy. The resort has condo buildings on both sides of this road (bay side and gulf side). The bay is beautiful, but it is complicated to walk it very far. You have easy access along the perimeter of the resort, but after that you have to work your way around to get to any trails. Some of these trails are worthwhile, though. We saw dolphins, nesting birds and a "flock" of monarch butterflies. There is a pedestrian walkway over the road so you can easily get to the Gulf side where there is a beautiful beach that goes as far as the eye can see. We explored Destin and Ft. Walton. Both were very nice. We also checked out a number of museums and parks (State and Federal) in the area. There are a bunch of parks within an hour of the resort with different flavors (swamp, pine forest, beach, dunes). We've traveled a lot and I must say the restaurants in this area were among the best. To find restaurants we talked with locals and went to well reviewed places we found online. If you go here, I hope you have as nice a time as we did.

With easy access to lazy river and having a private hot tub these were just a few bonuses for our family. Our unit was very spacious and decorated cute. Beds were comfy. We waited out Hurricane Micheal and received a gift from our host. This was unexpected and thoughtful.

Our family had the best time staying at the Heron L06. There was a ton of space and we thoroughly enjoyed our view on the bi-level patio. We used every single space of the condo!! The beds were all incredibly comfortable also! Great location right next to the boardwalk with great places to eat!! We will for sure be returning for future visits in Fort Walton!

Loved the setup and layout! The weather was too rainy but that is not something that can be controlled! The only suggestion would be a little more detailed housekeeping. I'm pretty specific though.
