What a beautiful condo! My family of 4, plus my sisters family of 3 had plenty of room for the whole week! This is our 3rd condo to stay in at this resort and it quickly became my favorite! The sunrises every morning were amazing!

We love staying at this resort and this was our first time staying at this property. 100% recommend. Place was clean and exactly as described. Good location with bay and pool views. Owner even sent out a list of places to eat, things to do, etc. My only “complaint” is that there was no pen to sign the guestbook, and I didn’t have one, so we weren’t able to do that. I always enjoy reading about other peoples adventures!

Great place to stay! Great view from the balcony! There is a full size dining table on the balcony where we enjoyed breakfast in the mornings. The unit is updated and plenty big enough. We were a party of 4 adults so lots of room for us. The lazy river and two large hot tubs made the trip for us. It was nice it's open late until 10 pm. I only wished the lazy river was heated though. The area feels very safe and well kept up. Plenty of garage parking. The beach was nice and warm. We saw a pod of dolphins playing around by the pier for quite some time on our last day. What a special treat !

We are a family of five and we could not have asked for a better place to stay to enjoy our vacation! The condo was beautiful, spacious and clean, and the outside amenities made our week! Our three teenage children enjoyed the amazing lazy river and hot tubs every night until close while my husband and I relaxed after days enjoying Destin and the beautiful beach! The Destin West beach area is so beautiful we felt no need to explore other beaches in the area (we were so thankful for the beach buggy and extras included with the condo!!). We truly cannot wait to figure out a time to come back!

The Condo was in a great location. Close to Destin to visit and do activities, but a lot more peaceful. The Condo was as pictured if not better. The couches had been updated and that really was my only concern in the photos before booking that they looked to be worn down, but they ended up looking as though they had just replaced them and not taken new photos yet. There was enough space for our 3 kids and grandparents traveling with us which was nice. Extras that were there when we arrived like free standing fans, a large extra blanket, and extra pillows in the closet and items for the beach like chairs and the umbrella was a nice touch too. The AC works great and we were very glad we went with this 6 floor option over lower ones with the lazy river and pool so close. The lazy river was a little too cold for our older travelers but the kids didn't mind it. Next year we know to travel a few weeks later for the best temps but overall we had the best time and it was so nice to not have to worry about anything while we were staying there. This is a great host. We never had to contact them. Emails, checkin codes, and checkout policies arrived in our inbox well before we needed to ask for them. Lots of great restaurants nearby and it was nice not to have to pay for beach access and parking. Thanks for a wonderful stay with awesome amenities. We will for sure be looking into other rentals this family offers.

Loved this place! You should definitely stay here! It was roomy, clean and modern. Fully stocked kitchen and pool and spa area was great. It was chilly when we went so we were grateful for the hot tub! The location was perfect! Everything thing we wanted to do or eat was close by. Going in the off season is nice too because nothing is crowded. We had the beach to ourselves pretty much! And I can't stop talking about how beautiful Destin beaches are. So clean and the sand is super soft! You should definitely stay at one of David's properties. I would do it all over if I could. The only thing about Destin is that the restaurants are expensive for a family compared to Kansas so prepare for that. Other than that you will have an amazing time!

Very nice condo. Spacious and clean. Extra blankets would of been nice. The sliding door in the living room was difficult to open and close. People seemed to be disappointed that pools were not heated until the end of the week, as we were also. Cool overnights and the early sunset cooled the water. I was disappointed with the lack of anyone minding kids goofing off in the hot tubs. I know it should of been parents, but they didn’t care. But overall the condo and resort are beautiful and a wonderful location.

Renting with Costal Vibes Vacation, by far exceeded our expectations. The communication, comfort and amenities within the condo were stellar. Our family was there for the Thanksgiving holiday and cooking a big turkey dinner was made easy due to the enormous amount of kitchen supplies within the condo. The unit was very comfortable, had plenty of sitting room, and included a variety of games that were perfect for family game night.

The condo was comfortable and we never lost internet or electricity. We had good meals, take-out for the most part. We mostly watched the rain until the last day when it was sunny and we went shopping in Destin. My review is colored by the disappointing weather but the condo is just fine although it could use an ice maker and a new toaster.

This place was amazing. It started with excellent communication and check in instructions. The views, location and style were very impressive.
The amenities were spot on and as described. The heated pool and hot tubs were superb and used many times due to the chilly gulf water the week we stayed. Rain was forecasted for most of the week, but we were lucky with just a couple short showers. Again, the kids loved the pools.
Within walking distance are several restaurants that we enjoyed. The closest grocery store is less than 2 miles away that made a few last minute things easy to get.
We only had one complaint, which was a noise complaint one evening that David gave us instructions on how to handle. I do wish the resort was able to recycle as it hurts to throw away so many recyclable materials.
My last suggestion would be to have a map of the premises, to help get from one place to another. We were a little confused on how to get to the skywalk.

The place is amazing. My family and love it. Great area if you or your family like to fish. Plenty of pots and pans for your cooking needs. I was only disappointed with limited amount of towels for 8 guest accommodation so be sure to bring extra towels. I would definitely book again in the future.

This Condo was immaculate! It is beautifully decorated and spacious. The lazy river is so fun too. The beach access is really simple as well considering it is across the busy street. Heron 607- We really enjoyed our stay. The amenities exceeded our expectations. The lazy river was amazing and the pool area was clean. Beach access is an 8 min walk that involved a couple of elevator rides and a walk across the ped bridge. The beach is worth the effort, however I recommend bringing own chairs. Although the beach is private, you have the option of purchasing two chairs and umbrella for $40 a day or seating behind the three rows of umbrellas which completely block the view of the water. We were also uncomfortable with how closely they were packed. We chose to find a less crowded spot on the public beach.
We found this location ideal, as it was out of the craziness of Destin but close enough to stores and restaurants.
We liked that an attendant checked for wristbands every hour, and actually asked those without bands to leave, cut down on crowds at the pool.
The unit was decorated nicely with modern furnishings and comforts. Two king size beds was a huge benefit. Unit includes a washer and dryer which was a nice feature.
The grounds of Destin West were well maintained and the staff was very friendly.
We highly recommend this unit and would stay here again.

We stayed at the Destin West in Heron 607. It is as beautiful as the pictures if not more so. They supply everything you need to at least get started. You may want to bring a couple extra trash bags, dish soap, dish washer tablets, laundry detergent, hand soap, then kitchen items such as aluminum foil, cling wrap, and id suggest a dish wrag or extra sponges. Oh and toilet paper. But you'll have plenty dishes, blankets and things of that nature. My family and I fell in love with the condo. Views are stunning, area is superb. Everything you want to do is right there, pools, ocean, the bay not to mention the activities that are all near by. You may want to drive to do your activities because that is a busy road but everything is within 20 minutes even Wal-Mart. Absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be back. The location of this property couldn’t be any better. Definitely a nice place to stay . I would stay here again. Beach is amazing , pool is amazing . View is amazing. You are located about 10 min drive from anywhere you want to go but at the same time about a 10 minute walk to the beach or boardwalk and don’t have to deal with the traffic like other locations . The process of check in /check out and keypad on door and everything was a breeze . The only con I would have about the stay was in my opinion I wish they used a better (more detailed) cleaning crew . The dust piled up on top of the ceiling fan , or the shower curtain needing replaced , or the children’s pack n play needed cleaned more or replaced . The beach/pool toys provided were nice to have but most could be updated . Overall it wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t stay here again because I totally would . I would just like to see some minor improvements that’s could go a long way . Overall we made everything work and are happy with the stay . I would definitely recommend considering this property as your vacation because all of the pros outweigh any cons !

The condo was wonderful. Very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, cups, flateware, etc. The walk to the beach was a doozy... especially with kids. This was out firt time staying on the bayside. We loved having the boat docks right there and the pool and lazy river were very nice. The landscaping also added a nice touch that we usually dont see. We definitely had a wonderful time and will recommend this unit to friends.

There were small issues upon arrival (no trash bags, a broken vase, decor wasn’t exactly as pictured on the listing-table wasn’t set, some decor was put up in the closets/cabinets) but overall the condo was still awesome! The trash bags were brought soon after I sent an email about it. Responses were always very prompt. Access to all the pools was wonderful! A code is needed to access the pool with the waterfall... We had to ask someone for the code because it wasn’t given in the condo information. Like I said - small issues that didn’t affect the successfulness of the trip. It was an awesome vacation! We love Destin West!

This was our first time to Florida and we picked the best place to stay. The condo is just as beautiful as it is in the pictures. It was a quiet location as well. Our family of 7 enjoyed the pool, and the short distance from the ocean. We will definitely stay here again! The beds are comfortable and there is always hot water! When we first arrived we had a issue with the code and we got a hold of David and he helped out right away (within 2 mins) he even sent a text to make use all was good! Super impressed with his service.

Myself and a few close friends decided to take a little getaway. We searched for weeks for a condo that was close to the beach, had a large pool and would give us all our own space, all while staying within a budget. We couldn't have been more pleased with Heron 607. It was clean and beautifully decorated. We had plenty of space and all the appliances we needed. We loved having coffee in the mornings on the balcony (coffee pot and a Keurig and plenty of coffee cups were supplied). Having been to the Destin area many times before I wasn't sure about staying "over the bridge" but the location was wonderful. Lots of tasty food within walking distance or a short drive. It was a short walk to the beach, but not exhausting and didn't bother us. The lazy river was relaxing. Loved sitting in the zero entry pool. The resort was quiet during our stay. Plenty of parking right by the elevator. David was super easy to work with and very quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back, with our families, and for another girls trip!

We were visiting friends and family for a pre-Christmas reunion. This condo was perfect in location, and very comfortable and situated for all that we wanted to do. Great access to restaurants, shopping, etc. The site amenities are great - but the weather was a little too cold for the water features.

The location was great. We used the helpful suggestions in the packet provided with our stay and everyone loved Gary on the private fishing trip. The condo was clean and had all the cookware needed to cook anything. It was nice to have beach chairs rentals on the beach and the 2 additional chair and umbrella at the room, to carry to the beach. We sat on the balcony every chance we had. We will be back!!!!

What a great condo. Spacious, nice furniture, and beautiful views. Having a table that comfortably seats six on the balcony was very nice, (the mirror on the balcony was definitely a smart idea as well) The master suite and ensuite are huge and luxurious. We were 4 adults and two teenagers, we had ample space and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The lazy river never gets dull and the beach was absolutely beautiful, (loved the beach service) Thanks so much for the unforgettable stay and much needed relax time :)

This condo was everything you could want and more. I stayed here with my husband, son (5), my parents, and another couple with their son(13). There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. I was pleasantly surprised by the Keurig coffee maker and the Ninja blender! No expense was spared with this condo. The beds were very comfortable- and the whole place was beautifully decorated. David was great to deal with throughout the whole booking process and throughout our stay. He went above and beyond with any questions I had. This resort is so relaxing- there is plenty to do. The free beach service and the beach cart was SO nice to have also. This was our second year coming back to Destin West and I already can't wait to plan our next trip!! Thanks again!

If you want a condo that is comfortable, clean, well-equipped and with great views, this is it. The bed linens and blankets soft, comfortable mattresses for a good sleep, plenty of thick towels (even four large beach towels!), enough channels for TV watching, large balcony and the kitchen stocked with anything you need. The owner saw that I had brought my Keurig and then delivered a new Keurig for the condo. Loved the heated pools. David was so easy to deal with and went out of his way to assist us in any way he could. A great stay and would definitely recommend.

Not only does our condo come with FREE beach service included... but we also provide a beach cart with cooler, a couple extra beach chairs, an extra beach umbrella, buckets and sand toys for the kiddos, 4 beach towels, those giant squishy noodles, and much more! Condo was absolutely gorgeous and clean. Tastefully decorated and great balcony.... loved the mirror! View of the bay was beautiful and loved the lights at night overlooking the lazy river/pool area. Very quiet time of year, so no crowds or waiting lines anywhere. Beach was very pretty and clean. Complimentary chairs and umbrella made laying out on the beach very enjoyable. Well stocked kitchen and comfy bed in Master. There were only 2 of us, so other beds were not used. Weather was perfect all week, with cold front moving in on our last day, so made packing up and leaving a little bit easier. We will be back! :-)

My friends and I take a girl trip each year and stay at Destin West. The condo we usually stay at was previously booked so we had to look for an alternative and found this condo. It is FABULOUS! Very we'll stocked, and clean!!! The beds were very comfortable, and the decor is nice. We all decided we would try to use this condo for all of our return trips. I have to say I was skeptical about staying on the bay side of Destin till now. For the past several years we have always stayed on the beach side at Silver Shells in Destin. This year the family and I wanted to try something different now that we had married kids and grand kids. So we found this place. It was a great choice. A private walkway from the bay to a private beach on gulf side. All the water pools imaginable along with kids water park pool and an lazy river. all located next to a beautiful bay. Want to rent jet skis or pontoon boat for crab island. Well it is literally next door to the complex. Want a snorkel guide and dolphin viewing outing, it also is right next door. What ever I wanted to do was RIGHT NEXT DOOR!!! Seemed to relaxing and just too easy. If you own your own boat, jet ski, pontoon boat, this is the place to stay. anchor right outside your condo view. This will definitely be a place we will visit again. Thanks to David and all we had a wonderful time. If there was one additional star I would have selected it for our out of this world.

We would highly recommend this property. The condo was spacious a home away from home. It had everything one could want. We had the Gulf on one side and the Bay on the other, several pools to enjoy and the lazy river. We were close to several great restaurants and had a lot of attractions close by to entertain our 8yr old granddaughter. We have stayed at Destin West for the past few years and have enjoyed it each time .

Ok, it was the first condo we ever rented but man it was great! When we first entered, I was struck at how well it was furnished - then immediately I was drawn to the sliding glass doors and the patio which looks out over the inner courtyard and the lazy river/pools. Also, a sweeping view of the bay (as well as a sneak peek at the Gulf). The condo is located on the west side of the complex, so the patio is shaded in the afternoon and quite comfortable to sit out in the middle of summer. Inside 3 bedrooms, a large family room, kitchen, laundry room. I liked the wide entry hall as it makes it easy to leave things out front when returning from a day at the beach or pool. I have no regrets about staying here, and would gladly come again. There were six of us; two grandparents, two parents and two toddlers and we were all very comfortable. And the landlord is very available and responsive if you do have questions. One thing; with our group we spent most of our time at the lazy river. We did venture a few times across the road to the beach, but it is a long trek and once we get there it is hard to haul all the gear through that gorgeous white sugar sand. We did discover a national beach just next door on the bayside, the sand is just as nice as the beach and it is a very short walk from the parking lot. For conveniences, there is a Tom Thumb right next door for emergencies, a Publix market less than a mile away, and lots of restaurants nearby. Also, Destin is just a short drive away (although this time of year the traffic is usually heavy). So don't worry, don't hesitate, rent this place and you won't be sorry.

We had a wonderful vacation. The condo was extremely comfortable for young and old alike. It ihas all the comforts of home and is absolutely beautiful. The lazy river was equally relaxing. The island overall is a beautiful setting. We enjoyed everything very much.

The listing description is accurate and this unit was so roomy and clean. Photos are exactly as condo looks at this date. We were so happy with our choice and David Jenn, owner, quarenteed it was a great unit and it WAS ! We would surely rent this particular unit again. Kitchen was well equipped plus beautiful.

We have stayed at Destin West a total of 5 times now and this unit is by far the most well-equipped, beautifully decorated unit that we have stayed in. The photos do not do it justice! The kitchen was especially well equipped-right down to cookie sheets, platters, tons of serving utensils, even salt & pepper shakers, which no other condo has ever provided (thanks, David!). The views are perfect...we loved sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins play early in the morning and again towards evening. David was great to work with and gave us great tips for restaurants, fishing, etc. The Beach chairs were an added bonus and much appreciated! I can't say enough good things about this unit!

My family had a wonderful vacation staying in this amazing condo! Newly renovated, it also had a stocked kitchen with everything needed to prepare a meal, as well as a high chair and pack n play for my daughter. The owner was very responsive and helpful in any way we needed. I highly recommend staying in this condo for your next Destin vacation.

We could not have asked for more from this property, or the owner! Our family of 5 adults and 3 children vacationed here for a week, and found the condo to be perfect! Everything we needed was there, and it is a beautiful property. We loved the fact that it is a family-focused resort, and felt very comfortable with three young children playing, swimming, and enjoying being children. The beach was breathtaking, and we truly enjoyed everything about it, from walking on the pier, to sunbathing on the sugar-sand beach, to crab-hunting at night. Everything we needed was either walking distance, or a very short scenic drive. Our family appreciated the comfortable beds, the quality linens, and the fully stocked cookware & utensils. One of the best things about this rental, was the fact that the owner was so insistent that we have everything we needed. He instructed us to let him know if ANYTHING was needed, and if we chose to purchase something for the condo, he would pay for it. We did not need to, as everything we could want was provided. We would LOVE to use this property again, and hope to some time in the near future! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

My husband, our 15 year old son and my stepson and his wife shared this beautiful condo for a post Christmas family vacation. We were visiting a son who is stationed at Eglin Air Force base. The condo was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the balcony with a view of the bay, ocean and the pools and lazy river. We spent a lot of time in the condo and never felt crowded. The master bedroom and bath were luxurious and comfortable. We slept great in the bed, and the linens were beautiful and high quality. The kitchen had everything we needed. The photos accurately reflected the condo's appearance. We have been traveling to Destin and the surrounding area every year for the last 15 years and found Destin West this summer. It's our favorite place to stay in the area. The complex is well maintained and has great amenities. I prefer the bay side because of the pools and lazy river, and it's just a short walk over the bridge to the beach. This is our second December trip to the Destin area in a row, and we plan on making it a tradition. It's not crowded, the beach is beautiful, and many of the local restaurants have special deals this time of year. We would definitely stay in this condo again, and would recommend it to friends. The owner David was very helpful and quick to answer questions.

We had a wonderful stay at this property!! The condo was beautifully decorated with top of the line appliances, and the owner was very accommodating both before and during our stay. While at the property, we especially enjoyed the lazy river, hot tubs, and pools--we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setup for our children, ages 4 and 8. We were also really excited about the close proximity to the pier, as our 8-yr old loves to fish! We would definitely recommend this condo to others traveling to the Destin area!!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The condo is HUGE and has everything you would need. There are many pools to swim in plus the lazy river. It is a little bit of a walk to the beach but there is a skywalk over the road with a wonderful view of the beach and the bay. We stayed 10 days and didn't want to leave. The property has lots of fun things for kids of all ages. The owner is great to work with and he answers quickly and has lots of ideas for you to do. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I can't say enough great things about our stay at this property! The condo was amazing! It was spotless and beautiful! It had great housewares and wonderful decor. The beds were all very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. It was so spacious and we never felt cramped! Every corner of this condo was clean! We felt right at home. The views from the balcony are breath taking! The resort was spectacular and worked so well for us with our two year old triplets! They loved the lazy river, hot tub and pools. Plus the walk across the bridge to the beach was so convenient (instead of having to cross a busy road!) The resort was clean and very kid and adult friendly. Destin is so convenient to get to from this property. We went to the Harbor walk and several restaurants only minutes away! The owner of this condo is so great to rent from. David is very friendly and so easy to work with. He offered advice on things to do and places to eat. He was willing to answer any questions we had and went out of his way to make sure our stay was great. I had zero reservations about calling him to ask for recommendations! This vacation was one of the best we have every been on! We have ZERO complaints about the condo, resort or owner! Couldn't have asked for a better choice for our first family vacation to the beach! Will most certainly be back next year! This was a ten star vacation for us! You would not regret renting this condo!
