Place was clean and beautiful. Lived the wagon and beach toys. Kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook. Check in was easy. Just wish there was more bath towels. Definitely will stay again and would recommend

Great place, looked recently renovated, great location on bay side and lazy river, easy access to beach. Rental provided wagon, beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards. It was our 1st time flying instead of driving, so we were worried about these things, and awesome that they were there for our use. Will definitely stay here again.

The condo is beautiful with ample space for a large family to spread out. It is very nicely decorated and it was wonderful that there were beach chairs available to use. The distance into town or into Destin is a short drive. I loved the walking bridge to get kids and seniors over the road and up to the beach without issues. I would definitely recommend this condo. It was so fun to have options from beach to pool to lazy River. We did it all!!!

This resort is a great place to spend the winter. There is a lot of places to explore along the Florida Pan Handle. Great restaurants to help you add a few pounds. If you like to shop, there are stores galore. The condo we stay in is fabulous and the pools and hot tubs are great.

The property overall is great! The walkover to the beach side made the Destin West convenient to whatever we wanted to do. The condo was large enough for our family of 7 with room to spare! I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! We liked that we had a bay view in the mornings before heading to the beach or lazy river. Since we flew and didn't arrive by car it was extremely helpful to have all the beach gear and toys provided. We walked to multiple restaurants nearby as well as the pier. that were fantastic.

Our stay was great! The unit was just as presented and communication was awesome. The condo complex was nice, safe, had pools (heated which was so nice) and the beach access/bridge was a great convenience. They had little touches that made the stay convenient such as provide beach items, well stocked kitchen, and games/puzzles. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

This was my first time staying at Destin West. It was beautiful the beaches and the bay were breathtaking. Our condo had everything you could possibly need. My son really loved the bunk room.The parking there was very easy which was a nice change from our previous vacation and there was plenty of carts for luggage.It makes checking in stress free.My family and I were very impressed.Would definitely love to come back next year.

Heron 606 was perfect for our family vacation! The condo was well stocked with linens, kitchen accessories and needs for the beach! It is easily accessible from the highway, quick access to many restaurants and has great views of the pools. The condo easily accommodated three adults and three children.

My wife and I stayed in this condo for the winter months. Very nice condo with a great view of the pools and the bay. Felt like home away from home. Plenty of dishes, cups and pots and pans. The condo was nicely kept up and clean. The beds were comfortable. Had plenty of space for when the family came down to visit. Having a washer and dryer located within condo is great advantage. The beautiful white beaches are just a 5-minute walk from the condo door. We would suggest staying in this condo to anyone.

The Heron 606 was the best spot for our family vacation! Wonderful view, walking distance to the beach and restaurants and not far from other attractions. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs in the evening and sitting out on the balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook for meals! The grounds and elevators were always clean! Great place and recommend if you are looking for a wonderful vacation spot

Great value for families needing beach and large pool options.
It is a noisy complex (between kids having fun and humm of the lazy river pool pumps) so that may be an issue for some.
The unit is very well stocked. I didn't need a thing in terms of cookware or serving.

We truly loved staying at this Condo! We fell in love the minute we opened the door and stepped in. There was plenty of room for our family of five. The balcony was a great place to relax and watch the moon rise. We were able to watch the fireworks across at the Boardwalk to bring in the New Year from the front deck!!! This condo had everything we needed to cook a few meals, wash clothes, etc. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation on the bay side of Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. The "lazy river" feature of our pool was our favorite pastime and we also enjoyed the smaller heated pool. Our 3 BR condo had gorgeous views, plenty of space, and was convenient to anything and everything we wanted.

Everything was beautiful & location was great. We love the Heron building & this unit is right in the middle of it. We flew this year so we didn’t bring extra blankets. My only suggestion is to bring blankets from home so everyone is comfortable at night.

Our stay at in Heron 606 at Destin West was fantastic. The condo was beautifully appointed and filled with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were fantastic, and kitchen had most imaginable needs. Condo also came with beach chairs, umbrellas, cart, wagon and plenty of beach toys for little ones. While facility was very busy the week of our stay, we never had issues with parking, pool chairs or waiting for elevators. Pools and other public spaces were clean and, while busy, we never felt crowded. David and his team at Coastal Vibe Vacations were very welcoming and incredibly responsive before and during our stay. We will definitely be return guests!

We had a wonderful time at the Destin West resort. Our kids loved the lazy river, pools and easy beach access. Condo was large, clean, wonderful, just as advertised.

Apartment was spotless when we arrived, and well equipped (the juicer in the kitchen was particularly appreciated given our access to florida citrus!) Conveniently located near Okaloosa Island pier, and the gorgeous sand dunes while heading to Destin. Was also conveniently located for an outing to Navarre beach and pier. David was very responsive to an issue we had with the hot water heater, and this despite our staying being over the Christmas holiday.

He is always very prompt responding when we have emailed about a property and always provides all the information we need. We love this condo, the decor is beautiful and it was immaculately clean. We were thrilled with our stay at 606 Heron. The location can not be beat and the anendities for the kids is fantastic. From the multiple pool access to the ease of walking to the beach, we would rent a thousand times more! Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful condo!

The condo was perfect. This is probably our 15 time to stay at Destin West, and this condo was by far our favorite. The condo has been recently updated. Everything was new, clean and great! We are used to the air units, in these condos, having a hard time keeping up with the warm Florida weather. This condo's air unit was awesome! At 70 it felt like 60. It was fantastic to be able to come in from the beach or pool, get a shower and not be sweating by the time you left for dinner. The beach wagon and sand toys available to use made our trip to the gulf side so much easier. We will definitely be booking this again!

Our family ABSOLUTELY loved Heron 606. This was our 4th time staying at Destin West and the past two times we have rented from Coastal Vibe and will definitely continue to do so. Coastal Vibe is so easy to work with in planning a trip. Check-in and Check-out are easy. Also, it rained while we were there (since Tropical Storm Alberto was coming into Florida) and Coastal Vibe sent around a rainy day care package to each of its condos. It was such a nice touch and helped keep our kiddos busy during the rainy day. Heron 606 was beautiful and updated. The beds were comfortable, the condo is decorated beautifully, and there was plenty of room for our big family. During the rainy day we had plenty of room on the large table to play cards. The view off the balcony is great, with a full view of the lazy river and the bay. This is our fourth time back to Destin West. The ages in our group range from one to sixty and everyone always has a great time. The lazy river, the splash pad, all of the pools and hot tubs, the pier in the bay, the covered walk between the beach-side and the bay-side, the short trip (walking distance) to arcades, restaurants, the Okaloosa Island Fishing pier, arcades---and so many other things--- make this property the perfect vacation spot!

Booking - This was our 2nd year dealing with David ( Coastal Vibe Vacations) . The booking was easy. David took his time, explaining different units and made suggestions. Heron 606 was everything he said it would be! Heron 606 - beautiful 3 bedroom . Each room was newly renovated. The kitchen had all stainless steel appliances ( fridge with ice/water) a Keurig coffee maker( our favourite) . The dinning room ( large 8 chair) table, very comfortable couch and chairs in the living room. What can I say about the master bedroom ... had a great sleep every night. The master bath is huge, double vanities and large walk-in shower The balcony is quite large and over looking the pool area. Loved loved loved this unit! Any questions we had David and Jen (the unit manager) dealt with immediately and satisfactory. David and Jen are genuine caring people who want to make sure you have the best vacation ever! We truly enjoyed our stay in this unit. Heron 606 is everything described on the web site and more!
