We enjoyed it from the moment we got there. Walks on the beach were just a quick trip downstairs. Kitchen had all the things we needed to cook meals together. Hanging out in the jacuzzi at sunset! This place was magnificent!

This is our second stay in the penthouse! It continues to be the perfect getaway for our family! I love the privacy, the space and amenities provided, and proximity to parking, shops, restaurants, and of course the beach. It has the best views of the sunrise and sunset. Great stay! Only negative is the shower in the master bath kinda leaks out onto the bathroom floor. Loved the views and the pools. Watching the fireworks from the Hot Tub on the roof was a great experience. Would definitely book this condo or another at Destin West.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The views from the balcony and rooftop are breathtaking and I would recommend this booking for anyone looking to get away and have a great experience. There’s a heated pool viewable from the corner balcony which adds for an extra beautiful view at night! The lazy river on the resort and heated pools by the bay were also truly amazing! The host is also very attentive and responsive from the beginning to the end of stay! That is very much appreciated. I travel with my three teenage boys, and we stay in different condos several months out of every year and this is by far our most favorite yet! For certain, we will definitely be returning as soon as our time can be allotted!!!

The pictures of the condo do not do the place justice. We come to the beach multiple times a year and this was hands down our favorite stay! The condo was absolutely stunning and so was the view. You got the most gorgeous view of the ocean and the bay from the roof and balcony. Plus the condo had everything you could think of needing. To top it off, they leave a book with all of their recommendations for anything you could think of (food, photographers, things to do, etc). 1000/10 would highly recommend booking your stay here! You definitely will not be disappointed!

The over all stay was so peaceful, from watching the sunrise and sunset, to going all over town site seeing. The roof access made it the most peaceful vacation I have ever been on. It was so clean! The only thing that we did not like is not being able to stay longer. This is the perfect place for a couples get away . We will definitely be booking with them again! The staff always reply to you ASAP. Check in was easy as it gets. If you needed anything you just call and boom they pick up quick! They made our honeymoon worth and easy more than they’ll ever know! The beach front property is amazing and it’s also amazing the property is connected to the bayside so you can enjoy the lazy river and multiple other pools. This was the perfect place to stay for my wife and I on our honeymoon. This would also be great for a family to vacation to. The condo was very clean and the view is great! I loved the rooftop hot tub. We walk to the pier and ate at many of the restaurants that were recommended to us by the host. All of which were great! Our favorite past time was spending time by the pool and floating around the lazy river. We definitely plan on coming back!

The condo itself was perfect! It has everything you’d need to be away from home. The kitchen was well stocked, which was great. The private hot tub is a huge plus. We’d love to go back but during spring/summer. A lot of the attractions in the area were closed for the season, we should’ve looked into that before our stay. Overall the beach was beautiful, convenient that the condo is on the beach side! If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay, I’d say this is the place! The area is calm but had a lot of great restaurants just minutes away (some walking distance) and Destin was only a short 10 minute drive away. So you’re close to shopping, tourist attractions, and great food, but not in the crowd of it all! Would definitely recommend this place for families, friends, or couples!

We had an excellent Thanksgiving week in this penthouse (3 of us).
Pros: good location as far as easy access to our favorite local restaurants, simply amazing rooftop hot tub for the cool evenings, heated pool for the cool days/evenings, beautiful beach, very clean unit and well stocked, great recommendation from host for thanksgiving meal, and responsive of hosts…we had one minor issue with hot tub when first arriving which was fixed immediately and another lingering exterior issue that was out of their control but they showed great interest in rectifying that to their best of their ability as well.
Cons: noisy traffic from main road (not awful, we are just used to staying further west of the pier), not as much storage/closet space as we would have liked, and we arrived at night and has some difficulty locating the best parking and where the unit was.
Overall, it was another fabulous week for us in Fort Walton and the affordable lower rate for off season was a bargain for this unit.

This is our second vacation at Coastal Vibes, process was easy and any questions were answered promptly. Check in and parking were wonderful, was nice to have ample parking on the 6th floor. Great views from the penthouse and easy access to the beach and pier. We spent most of our time right on the beach. Seen lots of dolphins off pier and even experienced string rays swimming along the coastal beaches which was an experience we have never had. Check out was easy and will definitely be back.

This property is amazing. My husband and I were there all week and my son and his friend stayed in the bunks one night. The amenities were plenty and comfortable. My friends with other rooms on the property envied the amount of space, high ceilings, decor, and private hot tub. The price was only slightly higher than the cramped efficiency we were in the year before. If we come back to Destin next year, this will be our first choice.

Really enjoyed the location and views at this condo. The rooftop views with hot tub was a huge bonus to staying here! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including air fryer and crock pot, tons of nice clean steel pots and pans, lots of glass and dish wear. Really made us feel at home! there’s even a beach umbrella and beach wagon. the condo was plenty big for the four of us and had many extra beds for more guests. (My only complaint about the whole condo is the Primary king frame or mattress is needing replacement as it is sagging- if your back hurts just try another bed in that room ) Unfortunately the lazy river was closed the10 days we visited but it looks like it should be ready again soon for guests by February. The hot tubs are huge at the common areas and the 1 heated pool (on bayside) available was warm enough to enjoy yourself in December and January without feeling cold. We really loved our stay would definitely try to stay at this condo again if we revisit the area.

We LOVED our stay at DestinWest! The penthouse was everything we had dreamed it would be. The views 😍 wow! We enjoyed the hot tub every chance we could get. It was our children’s favorite thing about the trip! Everyone we interacted with were very friendly. The walk to the beach is short and wow the ocean doesn’t disappoint! The white sand and beautiful waters. The food around town was delicious. We didn’t want to eat at any fast food chain, so we either cooked at the penthouse or we tried new places around. Stewby steamers was yummy (went twice for their snow crab), torchys tacos had pretty good Mexican, the crab trap had a place for gelato, which we enjoyed on our way to walk the pier at anglers. We got souvenirs at multiple places but felt the souvenir shop down the street across from Publix was affordable and lots of options. We also ate oysters at AJs which was good, fish sandwiches at Stewbys shanty, Thai food (AMAZING) from Fire Thai fusion. This was a great stay, thanks!

Pictures of the view dont do justice . The balcony top view is amazing especially at night . You get both the ocean and the bay .
Plus close to airbase and if your an airplane geek like me tons of cool flyovers of f22 / f18/ V2 ‘s. Second time visiting this resort and keep coming back for the winter heated pools . Will be back .

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The beach was beautiful and the resort was so clean and comfy. Everything was super easy to get too and convient. We personally enjoyed spending time in our private hot tub and watching movies at night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner on the nights we stayed in, and David was excellent about responding when we had questions or concerns. We felt prepared even before our trip, as David and his team sent us plenty of emails to make sure we had all the information we needed to have a successful trip! This is our third time staying at Destin West in the last two years, booking with coastal vibes each time. Every stay has been nothing short of phenomenal. The penthouse villa 01 was beautifully decorated, spacious and the 360 view was as great as advertised. The hot tub on the roof was great! The bathroom is huge and the updated kitchen was beautiful. The condo itself was beautiful! It was very clean and very well stocked! The views were amazing! The tv stand is full of board games and puzzles that my children had a ball with! It was perfect for adults and children. Great location to the ocean and bay! The renter before us must have clogged the tub drain so we contacted Costal Vibes and they were there within the hour to fix it. Coastal Vibes is great to deal with and has great hospitality. Renting PH-01 villa gulfside was of great ease. The property was great location and unit was clean and convenient to parking as well. The owners responded with in an hour or less to questions I had. We will definitely be staying again.

Coastal Vibe Vacations staff

We enjoyed the rooftop hot tub each morning. The lower balcony was spacious with plenty of seating. Stocked kitchen for anyone who likes to cook. Crockpot, air dryer and seasoning provided. The only negative is the sliding glass doors are hard to open. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed our week at the beach. Thank you!

Our condo was absolutely beautiful. Very well appointed and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. It was very clean, had comfortable beds, and a fully-stocked kitchen. There were even additional beach chairs and an umbrella. We will definitely look to Coastal Vibes for vacation rentals in the future.

We were amazed with this condo!! I love the Bayside my husband loves the gulf We had the best of both! My favorite place is the fishing pier. We were able to walk everywhere seen Destin fireworks and Okalossa from the condo! Our last day we seen Sharks, turtles, dolphins, and spotted rays from the pier. The condo was clean, beds comfy ,it was a great place to stay!! Staff is amazing!! Thank you again! We have been coming for 13yrs and this resort is by far our favorite and now our forever go to!!! Rockin Tacos is a must!!
