Location was perfect, the kids loved the pools, beach access was easy and fast. Make sure you get in line EARLY on your first day for the chairs/umbrella if you want to be in the front row.

This property was fantastic. Destin West offered lots of pools and space. This condo was clean and well maintained. We had plenty of towels and 2 showers. We went with 2 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of sleeping room for everyone. Kitchen came with everything we needed to prepare meals. We felt safe and the pool outside our balcony was very nice. Pool was big and Clean. And the beach was just a short walk away. They shot fire works off at the pier just a short distance away and my kids could swim at night while watching the show. They loved it. We look forward to booking another stay next year. We will definitely be back.

Fourth year coming to Destin and ranked top condo we stayed at. So clean and cozy. Stocked with everything you need. Very comfortable space and great views from porch. Rental company was so easy to deal with and never made you feel like a burden but a guest actually. Amenities were all very well clean and from my porch saw them throughly cleaned every morning. I can’t think of one negative. Second time renting from coastal vibe and always top notch. See you next year!

I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in Destin West Gulf 215 last month. Check in/out was a breeze. Although it never seemed like a big deal to go over to the desk on the bayside, it really did make a difference being able to go directly to the condo. This was probably one of the cleanest condos we have stayed in compared to the ones managed by Destin West Vacations. I know it must be very hard to keep the floors clean with the sand, sunscreen, and regular turnover, but this was the first condo that didn't have sticky, slippery floors. Also, the sliding doors to the balcony opened with ease. Some are so poorly maintained that you practically throw out a shoulder trying to move them. We also appreciate the flexibility having a Sunday check out for the extra day. Suggestions: It would be nice if there were either extra towel racks or some hooks on the back of the bathroom doors for hanging robes, cover-ups, etc. It would also be nice if the owner would consider a curtain or door at the bunkroom entrance for some privacy.

Pros: Decor was cute, very clean, spacious. Easy access to parking and elevators. Cons: Balcony is right at the hot tub which can be loud at times (mainly teens), need more hooks or space to put clothes for bunk bed area. Overall: Would stay again!

Great beach location close to the Okaloosa Island Boardwalk and Triptides Beach Bar for drinks at sunset. Walk past one condo complex to and a small beach park to the East and there is access to 3 or more miles of undeveloped beach on the Gulf for walking.

This condo was very clean and well decorated. Easy process of checking in and very convenient to the pool and beach. The beach was a little more crowded than expected, but still nice. The Fort Walton neighborhood is nice, however, we travelled to Destin a lot for more places to eat and things to do. We hoped the lazy river was on the gulf side, we were not aware it was on the bayside, that did not seem clear in the description. Lastly, we loved the sunsets!! We would come back!

Exterior of building is a little dated, but this condo was very modern and clean! Just like pics. Favorite part was the access to all the different pools, hot tubs, lazy river, etc. We hit a different one each day and that kept the kids excited. We actually didn’t leave the resort except to eat. Perfect for family of 4 and for kids.

This was our first visit to this area in Florida. After many hours of researching condos & resorts, we are so glad we chose Destin West Beach & Bay resort. We stayed on the gulf side which offered a wonderful view of a huge pool & the gulf from a distance. Being able to park close to the condo in the covered garage was welcomed. The condo was nicely furnished & very comfortable with plenty of room. The beach was very nice & the gift of free beach chairs was a plus. We also enjoyed the huge lazy river on the bay side. We met a 10 year return visitor to the resort while at the lazy river one day. We can understand why & would highly recommend this place to everyone!

We stayed for a week for Spring Break 04/12-04/19. It was myself, my two children (ages 8 and 9), and my parents. You couldn't ask for a better location. It's even better than the pictures, and that says a lot! Deck overlooks the pool and hot tub, and the unit is ideally located right by the beach. Do yourself a favor: book this unit!!! You won't regret it. David and his team were wonderful!

My favorite beach destination! This condo has been beautifully updated and provides every convenience for a stress-free vacation at one of the world’s most breathtaking beaches. This condo has direct views of the Gulf from the kitchen/living room as well as the balcony. Access to the condo is very convenient. Elevators are available when needed but this unit has very close access to the parking garage and is only one floor above ground level via stairs so we hardly even used an elevator all week. The beach is literally steps away and the beach chairs/umbrella service that were included in the rental made it easy to relax by the emerald waters of the gulf. The location of this resort also allows walking access to almost 4 miles of undeveloped gulf-front beaches. Our kids enjoyed taking some time off from the beach and made good use of the pools and the Lazy River. We were able to prepare our meals in the kitchen (new appliances!) but also enjoyed the short walk on the beach to the restaurants on the Boardwalk. All in all, a great condo to make memories to last a lifetime.

Destin West truly was “Our own slice of Paradise”! No detail was left out the entire week. Beautiful decor throughout our unit. Even with a water main issue during our stay which put us out of water for a little bit, David made sure that we were well taken care of! We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo was gorgeous, and did not disappoint. It contained everything you'd need for the week...and plenty of just in case extras. The toiletry and starter cleaning items were a top notch touch. In our opinion it was on the best side of the resort (beach side!), and was nicely tucked away in some palm trees. The only negative we saw (and it was really a small one) was that the condo directly overlooks the hot tub. It's a popular spot in the evening, so your romantic nights on the patio involve a few more people and a little entertainment. :) We enjoyed Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. Between the huge pool, lazy river, splash pad, beach, and neighboring resort next door (The Island was accessible and was more of a party atmosphere with a DJ and swim up bar for those looking for that), we had plenty to do onsite. The resort could use some general updating (I'd give it 4 stars probably), but overall had everything we were looking for. Highly recommend asking some locals for family To Do's. We asked our Rockin Tacos server the first night and she mentioned a ton of things...movie on the beach, pirate band, luau...many of them free to do. We took a boat out and enjoyed Destin's Thursday night fireworks. Highly recommend this condo. The owner was fantasticly organized and super easy to work with. Enjoy your trip!
