Very prompt cardio service when we had an issue with our dishwasher it was replaced within three hours. The resort is beautiful and well kept.

We arrived at the beginning of our stay to a very clean condo with all the furnishings and kitchenware you could imagine. Providing the bed linens and towels was a plus as well as starter kits for all the bathrooms. On the second day, we had the internet/wi-fi become glitchy to a point where we weren’t able to watch TV, but I emailed Coastal and they got it fixed so quickly. They even sent a Cox Comm technician out and it was back up and running in no time. Thankful for the fast service. Overall, the vacation was great spending time with family and friends. Kids had a great time at the pools and ocean as well as going across to the arcade. Great host for a great stay! Would definitely stay again!

Gulfside 209 was the perfect location for our vacation! The condo was very clean and provided everything we needed (we especially enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella). It was within walking distance to the beach, pools, the lazy river, and several restaurants. We left the premises in our car only twice during the entire week. It was the perfect relaxing vacation, and we hope to return next year!

My husband, son and I had the best week at Destin West Gulfside 209! The place was beautiful and offered so many amenities! This would be the perfect place if you had young kids. My son is grown now, but the three of us even loved the lazy river! My son also used the gym which was very nice! I loved sitting on the balcony late at night overlooking the beautiful pool and hearing the waves crash...SO PEACEFUL! Our condo was very clean and comfortable. The grounds and building were also very well maintained. Location was also a huge plus for us. We were able to walk the beach to the boardwalk or across the bridge over the road for dinner and also some go-cart fun at Wild Willy's Adventure Zone. I think the only time we got back in our vehicle was to take the short drive to Destin for lunch at McGuire's one day and lunch at Stewby's another day. There are many restaurant options within walking distance though if you didn't want to drive. We had groceries delivered right to our door and used the grill on the property to grill steaks one night. We could even hear the live music from The Island Tripp bar while outside grilling. It was a really fantastic family vacay! Can't wait to come back!

We had a great time at Gulfside 209! We had a few hiccups when we got there but through trial and error they were able to fix things in a timely manner! Their maintenance man was awesome! Gave us great suggestions on things to do in the area and was just a nice guy to talk to! The light switches in the master bedroom are kind of confusing but the wiring in big buildings like this are typically not perfect. So once we got used to it we were able to figure it all out. The pools were great! And having beach service included is a HUGE plus! We would definitely stay here again!!

G209 was a great condo for a family getaway. We spent most of our time at the beach and having the umbrella and chairs provided daily was great; get there early to reserve front row. The pool and lazy river were awesome. With the boardwalk being about a 5 minute walk, we only had to leave the resort a couple times all week. Another bonus is linens and bath towels are provided which always is not the case. The kitchen had all of the necessary items we needed and the check-in and check-out process was a breeze. We definitely plan to come back!

We enjoyed staying in this condo. The only thing missing was a better view of the beach the palm trees made it hard to see any of the ocean so it’s really just a pool view. Had everything we needed even an umbrella for the beach which we loved for our 3 month old. We love Destin west beach and bay this was our 3rd time staying there and it won’t be our last!

I absolutely love this condo! It was so comfortable - the furnishings were so adorable. I had everything I needed and even some stuff I didn't! Looking out onto the pool and seeing the ocean as well was phenomenal. I love that it was on the second floor because I could either use the stairs or the elevator without any issues. If I had to pick something constructive to add it would be that I do not like having to wait in line to get my beach chairs. I tried to get front row the first day and waited in line for an hour and a half. I still didn't get first first row. Other than that, everything was fantastic. I always recommend this condo to anyone looking to go down to Florida!

The condo was just the right size for our family of four with a pretty color scheme and beachy vibe. The 2nd floor location made for a quick trip down the stairs to the pool or beach as well as up to the 3rd floor skywalk. We rarely even bothered with the elevator, besides unloading and loading the van. Parking was always easy too. The resort had very nice pools, hot tubs, patio tables, and lounge chairs for sunbathing, and we absolutely loved the lazy river! Also, the hot tub was emptied and filled with fresh water every night, so it was nice to know that cleanliness was a priority. We also made use of the charcoal grills to make supper one night. There were great shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment options nearby as well. Definitely a wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Destin West Gulfview 209!! We enjoyed several of the pools and my daughter enjoyed the hot tub! I loved the location of the condo! I will absolutely be back every year I can! So close to the beach, two pools and a hot tub directly outside your door, and everything else just a quick walk over the bridge. This was our 3rd time staying at destin west on the gulfside. We love it here and it's perfect for our family of 5. We were happy that our room was ready before the scheduled time since we arrived earlier then we expected. Checking in and out is so convenient and the entire rental process was smooth and easy. Our kids love the pools and lazy river and we like the easy access to the beach. The only thing that we wish was different is the amount of rental chairs and umbrellas that are set up on the beach. We made sure to get a condo that included the rental of chairs and an umbrella which was so much better for us this year. We just had to make sure to get to the beach early and stand in line for our spot as the front row fills up fast. We definitely plan to return and stay at destin west in the future! Highly recommended especially for families with children!

Great family vacation. Loved the condo. Felt very homey. Check in process was the best. There was no need for a check in. Everything was already taken care of, and we literally walked in and out condo bracelets were waiting. Had a bump with the toilet running, but it was fixed within a few hours of notification. This location is perfect if you are looking for big nicely kept pools and a very short walk to the beach. My kids loved the pool and walking over the bridge to the lazy river. The beach is very close but gets very crowded. We just went next door to the free park when it was too crowded which was no big deal and still very nice. The condo itself had everything we needed except a cheese grater. But if you don't have a slew of kids eating quesadillas I doubt you will miss that:) The couch and pillows seemed a bit older than in the pictures but overall it was a great value. Highly recommend.

Property and condo was very nice. Super close to the beach and had a very nice Fitness Center. My only complaint about the entire place was the lack of any kind of hook in the condo. Bring an over the door hanger for the hallway and you'll have somewhere to hang your jacket. But if that's the only complaint then it's pretty wonderful.

My family and self have never been to Destin prior to this visit and so I searched many different rentals in search of the right one. I can definitely say I was extremely happy with my final choice. I ultimately chose Destin West Gulf 209 because of the access to the private beach and the many different pools, including the lazy river pool that the kids would love. We have 4 children ranging in age from 11 years old to 7 months old and they absolutely LOVED the entire trip. We used the pools on our side of the property as well as took a short walk over the connecting bridge to the property on the opposite side with the lazy river pool. We were very happy that 2 of the pools were heated. Perfect for us because of our 7 month old. We were able to swim with her. The pack and play that we found in the unit was broke and when I contacted one of the host to advise, they had a new one dropped off in our unit and we were able to use it with no problems. I thought that was great customer service and thoughtful!!! The beach access was so easy and the best! Your rental comes with free beach service with an umbrella and 2 chairs and they had so many different shovels and toys for kids to take to the beach. They also have 2 chairs on the balcony that you can take to beach to use. The only thing that I would say could be better was the master king mattress. The room itself is so pretty and comfortable. However the mattress isn’t that comfortable. I mean, it’s not so bad you can’t sleep at night, but it’s definitely springy and is literally the only thing I’d change. And I would definitely stay here again and look forward to returning to the property for a summer trip. FYI... The towels are great! I love when hotels and vacation rentals have nice towels and an abundance of them as well as washcloths!!! That’s always great!

Absolutely loved this condo! It's close to everything my family and I wanted to do on it trip to the beach. Except for going out to eat we almost never even left the property. The beach and pool is a very short walk and across the bridge is a very nice lazy stream. The condo itself was wonderful. It is clean and well furnished. There was plenty of room for my family if 5. We will definitely be staying here again on our next vacation.

The only complaint I had about this property was the amount of sand on the floors in the master bedroom when we got there. I know it is hard to keep a condo at the beach sand free...but I don't think house keeping swept in there at all before our arrival. Everything else was lovely! Very spacious condo with everything we needed to enjoy an entire week in Florida with four very little kids in tow. They had beach toys already there for them to play with. The beach chair service was very nice to have as well. All of the pools were spacious and we all really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be coming back to stay with yall again!

We had an absolutely perfect vacation week at Destin West. My wife and I were admittedly a bit nervous bringing our 2-year-old and 5-month-old to the beach together on our own for the first time. This place had everything we could have ever needed to make it a wonderful, relaxing stay. Our daughter loved the splash pad, pool, lazy river, and beach - the only trouble with her was decided which she wanted to go to first every day. The unit came with the ultimate survival kit for small kids - a pack-n-play, tent, chairs, beach toys, and a beach buggy to move our gear across the sand easily. This is a truly magical place and my family looks forward to coming back for many years to come.

This is my families third time staying in this beautiful condo. From the moment you walk through the door, it is absolutely welcoming. You can spend your entire vacation visiting all of the pools and amenities. My favorite part of the day was time spent in the beach chairs listening to the ocean and watching dolphins swimming in the background. I LOVE this condo and location!! The condo is beautiful and had everything that I needed. The beds were great, and the pillows were brand new and excellent. It was like a home away from home. I especially loved the chairs on the beach that comes with the rental - it was so nice not having to fight for space on the ocean. We had a couple of rainy days, but that didn't stop us - with the heated pool that has some cover from the weather, my daughter and I played all morning and didn't even notice the weather! There are so many pools to choose from, everything about this place is excellent. David recommended the Pirate adventure and my 8 year old loved it - my 14 year old even had fun :-) We also walked to the Boardwalk every night for dinner - Crap Trap and Rockin Tacos are awesome! This is, by far, the best vacation my family has gone on - I am coming back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. We really love the Gulf with it's beautiful beaches and water. I loved walking to the pier in the mornings. We loved that you could walk to the other side of the resort over the sky bridge. We wished we had went to Fudpuckers another night, since they were great and right across the bridge. My girls loved the huge lazy river and had a great time floating around it with their arm bands. My one complaint is the view, wish we had a better view of the Gulf. We had a great time and David has made check-in and check-out an absolute breeze.

We've stayed in a lot of condos over the years in this area and this one was by far the best for our family! It had everything we needed and a wonderful view! We loved the 8 pools that were available and the free beach service so we didn't have to get out early and fight for a place at the beach! We loved the location that was away from the crowded Destin, and we loved the fire works off the pier and easy access to eating places and the park on the beach near Crab Trap. David was also amazing! He was always available to answer any questions and when we had a death in the family last minute he quickly listed one of the weeks we were supposed to come and it booked and he gave us a refund for that week. He goes above and beyond for his guests! Thank you!

Destin West was a great place for a multi family vacation. We were able to stay in one building or at the ajoining Ramada. The pool by us was large and we spent a lot of time there. There are other pools available as well as the lazy river. We did have to fight for a table everyday and it would be nice if there were a few more tables but you could probably never have enough. I appreciated that the managers would come out and move towels off a table if no one used it for a couple of hours so you could not throw towels there and then head to the beach for the morning. This unit offered free beach chairs and that was great. There is easy access to Destin but you can find what you need in Fort Walton and avoid the big crowds in Destin. The unit was plenty big for 3 of us but the bunk beds are clearly designed for children and not very comfortable for adults. The descriptions are accurate. I would highly recommend this unit and Destin West and we intend to use it again.

This condo was absolutely perfect . You can't go wrong staying here everything we needed was there the space was perfect for our family. The area has a lot to offer and you really don't need to drive anywhere once you are there. Fudpucker's was just a walk across the bridge and the food was very tasty they also had an arcade so my kids were entertained (a little tip eat at the back bar area then you don't need to wait for seating). The boardwalk was so close we walked there daily for fishing and dinner multiple dining options and all were fabulous even seen the fireworks at the beach on Wed night ! And I almost forgot the Gulfarium it was such a nice place seen the dolphin show and the sea lion show both were great and being that it's small not a bad seat in the place. The beach service was the perfect touch we could come and go far from the beach without losing our spot. The pool was roomy and never felt crowded on the gulf side. We even went to the other pool for half a day it too was very nice floating around the lazy river. We did venture to the Harbor Walk Village which was very cool lots of shops and dining options. While we were there we did the Sea Blaster dolphin cruise I highly suggest it great people made the cruise entertaining. We hope to be back next year for more relaxation and fun !

I loved this condo! The view of the gorgeous pool and ocean right off of our balcony was wonderful. The furniture and bedding was clean and very comfortable. Loved having a full kitchen (with everything you would need) and a washer / dryer right in the condo. The kids (ages 7 and 13) loved the bunks and having their own full bathroom. I loved the master bedroom. The pools and lazy river were great, but the best thing was having our own dedicated chairs and umbrella waiting for us on the beach each day. We were able to walk to dinner 6 out of the 7 nights. We walked on the beach at sunset, and when we walked on the Pier we saw someone catch a 7" Black tipped shark! I've already booked for next year - can't wait to return. The owners and cleaning crew are fantastic - the condo was pristine! David treated us like family and offered to get us discounts on adventures and recommendations for places to eat. Best vacation ever!

The location couldn't have been more perfect and beautiful! The bedroom was perfect for my.husband and I along with fitting a pack n' play for my son. We stayed the last week of July and the condo was fabulous. We had plenty of room for our family of five :) Loved the easy access to the pools and the beach (although the water at the beach was full of June grass our entire stay). Good thing there were plenty of pools to pick from! The owner recommended a fabulous place to rent a pontoon boat from and we did that for a day and went to Crab Island and did some exploring. Another day we walked over to the Bayside and rented jet skis and kayaks and the kids also really enjoyed that. We ate at the condo for breakfast and lunch everyday but went out to enjoy local restaurants for dinner. We would definitely stay here again if we come back and/or would send other friends here!

Wonderful accommodations! Clean,inviting,and a comfortable place to stay. Everything you could need or want is available in this condo. We had such a great time. We spent everyday swimming and sunning at the beach as well as all the pools . The grounds and the pools are well taken care of. The owner has equipped the unit well. Mr. Jenn was very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed many restruants and our favorite was the Louisiana Langiappe. We did a few trips to the harbor walk in Destin as well as a dolphin tour in the evening, we enjoyed these excursions. What we enjoyed the most was the stay at the condo. We have stayed in the Destin area a few times now but this was are FAVORTIE by far! The condo was prefect for our family of 4, the kids keep asking when we can go back! We loved eating out on the balcony and watching the waves come in. The beds we very comfortable! We highly recommend renting a pontoon boat and going out to crab island and watching dolphins in the bay!! We hope to stay in this condo again!!

This is such an amazing place to stay for people with children. The kids loved the spray park, the lazy river, the multiple pools, going to the ocean or gathering shells at the beach on the bay across the road at the state park....and even just sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean and pool. When everyone wore themselves out, we came back to the condo and enjoyed family movie night with microwaved popcorn. This room is in a perfect location. If you want to grill on their grills, just hop on the elevator and go toward the ocean...there are charcoal grills available for everyone's use. This place is amazing! David is great to rent from. Any problems you have, he is on top of them immediately. We had a faucet leak, and no kidding, I didn't time it.... but I believe the repairman had it fixed within an hour of contacting David. Great place to stay. P.S. Highly recommend: walking on the beach to the pier--beautiful scenery; call ahead to Fudpuckers and cross the pedway and pick up a to-go order for dinner to eat back at the condo; MUST-DO--True Blue Pontoon Rentals--wow--an amazing day for the family--(David has info in rental packet)everyone will love it!

We had a great vacation here at Destin West. The condo was clean, fluffy towels, comfy beds and firm pillows. Nice deck that overlooks the pool and beach was a great place to have coffee in the morning. The Lazy River and heated pool were a short walk to the other building and the beach was an even shorter walk. The condo itself was the perfect size for a family of 4, there is minimal storage for clothes & suitcases though. Nicely stocked kitchen with all the appliances, pots, pans and bowls that you probably have at home. Location, location, location was wonderful!

My two daughters and I enjoyed our second stay in two years at this fantastic Destin West Condo. The amenities and location are fantastic. I would highly recommend David because of his excellent customer service and prompt follow up and this condo. We plan on doing this visit on a regular basis because we have found our "home away from home".

We have stayed at tis condo twice. Very comfortable and clean. Owner very pleasant to work with. Awesome pool and beach. Great location...walking distance to restaurants. We will definitely be back.
